“Our heroes are (people) who do things which we recognize, with regret, and sometimes with a secret shame, that we cannot do. We find not much in ourselves to admire, we are always privately wanting to be like somebody else. If everybody was satisfied with himself, there would be no heroes.” ? Mark Twain
Tune in tonight at 7p/8p (ct/et), for "Most of My Heroes don't Appear on Stamps" Is the idea of heroes something left for the movies? A fantasy? Too superficial?
It seems lately the world is engulfed in war, poverty, senseless death, with other negative images in our own "backyard." Perhaps the need of heroes is something needed now, more than ever. We'll examine the origins of heroes from ancient Kemet (or Egypt) and their influence of super heroes of today, and how we can begin to tap in our own "superpowers."

...and ... well, that was the intended topic of dialog, but Biff and Guest Co-Host, Gorilla Joe were more interested in talking about why Danimator was out of town. That reason was Project HOPE. Each year when Comic Con comes to town, the local law enforcement up-roots all the homeless away from the vicinity of the convention center. That's where the "Real Life Super Heroes" come in. They set up this homeless handout event. The team Danimator joins the effort with is The California Hero Initiative, they're not exactly Real Life Super Heroes ... more like, "extreme altruists", but they all play on the same team. Dan's wife calls in with the details of the event as well as members from the Legacy Initiative, who are based out of Biff's home town in Utah!
Comic Con is talked about with a special call-in blast from the past!
Check it out, this one's a classic!

Some people do the right thing for the wrong reasons. Deric Lostutter is seemingly one of those people. A self-described "anti-rape activist", his questionable methods of shaming women who openly criticize him have put him into the same category of the misogynists he claims to despise. Has his online popularity corrupted him or was he always a bad guy riding a white horse for popularity? You can decide for yourself. His ex-girlfriend "Piper" will be joining us to tell of her seven year relationship with Deric and how he targeted her using revenge for daring to call him out on his hypocrisy. Choose your heroes wisely.
