Her body, her choice. Her body, her choice.
Anyone who questions this particular mantra is most definitely a villain; a cackling cad in a cape, twirling his mustache as he ties a crying damsel to the train tracks.
But there are some unexamined assumptions at the core of “her body, her choice” and foremost among them is that, somehow, society respects men’s bodily autonomy more then women’s. Let me say that again. Society respects men’s bodily autonomy more then women’s. Heh. Yeah. Join JohntheOther, Typhonblue and Girl Writes What as we take a look at “her body, her choice” and ask ourselves, “what about his body, his choice?”
A 35 year old woman has been sentenced to one year in prison for helping the man who is convicted of raping her eight year old son multiple times. Obviously, the Judge and Prosecutors are convinced that both the Mother and convicted rapist are guilty as charged. But the overriding question is what is God’s judgment? In other words, what is wrong in this situation and what is right according to the Holy Scriptures?

I was inspired to create a discussion group with teenage girls to talk about topics such as self esteem, depression, sadness, relationships, false identity etc. Too many of our young woman are struggling with their body image and having very little knowledge of their GOD self and they fall victim to abuse and stumble through life with LOW SELF esteem.
I am coming to you with LIFE EXPERIENCE and SUCCESS.
I feel like our girls need real talk. An exchange of stories and a list of otpions so they know that they are NEVER stuck in any situation. many of us talk about I LOVE ME but stay in situations and relationships that do not have our best interest in mind. We have to have our best interest in mind and our girls have to stop putting their destinies in other peoples hands.
The purpose of this forum is to assist our young women in reaching their potential their high self so when they feel challenged they are equipped with the PROPER tools and information to succeed without hurting themselves or someone else.
