The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview NFL All Pro Eddie George.
Eddie's compassionate and competitive spirit carved a special niche for him in the professional sports arena, particularly the NFL where he is only the second NFL running back to rush for 10,000 yards while never missing a start, joining Jim Brown. Only Walter Payton (170) has started more consecutive regular-season games than George’s 128. In addition to the Heisman Trophy, George won several NFL Rookie of the Year awards in 1996, and was the Tennessee Titans’ starting tailback until 2003. Throughout his tenure as one of the NFL’s premier running backs, Eddie not only possessed an explosive combination of speed, power and toughness, but was the epitome of durability. Eddie’s punishing north-and-south running style won him the 1997 AP’s “Offensive Rookie of the Year” honors as well as four consecutive trips to the Pro Bowl from 1998-2001. Drafted in the first round by the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans, he owns virtually every franchise rushing record. Eddie led the AFC Champion Titans to Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000.

Championship season is just about over, but controversy never takes time off in sports.
On The Exchange, Sumit and Jason return to the NBA Finals, which could just as well be over by shortly after the live show. They'll dig into the leading topics of the series, including Finals MVP considerations and the directions of both the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers after the final buzzer sounds on the NBA season. Does a Warriors title provide the long-predicted referendum on titles built from long distance shooting? Does a Cavaliers title still prove that a team needs a lead dog/superstar player to win a championship?
They will also look at the news regarding the FBI's hacking investigation into the St. Louis Cardinals. Where do the Redbirds, the league and new commissioner Rob Manfred go from here? In the litany of scandals in the sports world, how can fans rate this investigation on a scale of "shrug" to "rage"?
Come through The Exchange live in the chat room, on Twitter (@skd_thExchange, @asportsscribe) and on the phone lines at 347-202-0247.
Oh, and because it was what would have been his 44th birthday, enjoy tonight's intro.

Venita and her husband, Duwayne, own C & J Trophy & Engraving, a family business. The couple makes it work by setting serious boundaries. Nestled between the University of Memphis campus and the Orange Mound Community, one of the largest and oldest black neighborhoods in the country. They purchased the business and property had been in business for over 30 years. The startup risk was low, but the stakes were high since they knew nothing about the awards and recognition industry. For the first few years, The Smiths didn’t change a thing. Fortunately, Venita had experience in retail and operations management and her husband had background in color proofing and lithographic photography, so they threw caution to the wind and went for it. And, eight years later, the rest is history.
Her first job, was at the Memphis in May International Festival as Secretary. That position would lead becoming its Operations Director for 10 years. That led her to become the Director of Operations at the National Civil Rights Museum. During her 16-year tenure, she assisted with two renovation projects and two expansion projects all while managing the day-to-day operations of the 40,000 square foot facility, 13 full time staff members, security, housekeeping and IT contractors. Venita retired in 2014 to focus more on the family business.
With her father owning a shoe repair business for over 30 years and her mother, who was a beautician and owned her own salon, Venita was destined to become an entrepreneur. Venita watched her parents as they worked together like hand and glove to provide a comfortable lifestyle for her family. They managed to work together as a team, like she and her husband Duwayne. Venita is the brain and Duwayne is the brawn.

There may not be another team in the AFC w/ higher expectations in 2015 than the Indianapolis Colts. Fans still feel that the team was cheated during the AFC Championship game against the Patriots, & perhaps rightfully so. This team should have a chip on their shoulders after getting obliterated 45-7. Many believe this team is one step closer to obtaining another Super Bowl trophy & maybe they are. But if this unit is going to get over the hump then quarterback Andrew Luck has got to limit his turnovers. The guy threw 4 picks during last year's playoffs, including 2 costly INT's against New England. If he does that, there's no limit to what this team can accomplish. & w/ the off-season additions of wide receiver Andre Johnson & running back Frank Gore, Luck may finally have enough offensive help to capture a Lombardi trophy. Those guys may be nearing the end of their careers but they still have enough in them to make another Super Bowl run in 2015. I'm anxious to see what the defense will look like. Despite recording 41 sacks last year, this team still surrendered a lot of points, particularly in games against Pittsburgh & New England (twice). Bringing in linebacker Trent Cole is a nice pickup. He'll get a chance to help make that defense even better. There's a very bright future in Indy but can they live up to expectations? How will they respond after playing extremely poorly in the conference title game? Tune into "The Rocket Sports Breakdown" Tuesday June 30th @ 10:30am in another 32 for 32 NFL team coverage. Rocket Nation, get ready for a power trip.

Welcome to Sacred Sunday! Today we are reading I Corinthians Chapter 9.
Support Your Apostle
Paul is kind of a big deal. He's an apostle. He's seen the Risen Christ. Even the fact that the church in Corinth exists is proof that God is working through him. Boo-ya.
He explains that, as an apostle, he is entitled to monetary support from his fellow Christians. Must be in the fine print of his contract.
He should get free food and beverages (no more BYOB for Paul!). He should have a faithful wife traveling by his side (a really cute one!). He shouldn't have to work little side jobs (tent-making can be a real drag). Really, the Corinthians should be fully supporting him.
Eyes on the Prize
But Paul doesn't roll this way.
Even though these are his rights, even though this is what God demands, Paul never took advantage of these perks.
And don't worry, he's not going to start doing it now. He's just trying to make a point. So put away your wallets, okay?
All Paul is saying is that he chose this life freely. He gets to spread the gospel around free of charge to everyone.
Paul might be free, but he's made himself into a slave (sans chains) in order to win more converts to Christ.
Wherever he goes, he becomes like the people he's with so that he can help convince them that Jesus is Lord. We believe this is called empathy.
And you've got to stay strong throughout. Christians are like world-class athletes. They have to train and be super discipled in order to win the prize at the end. The prize in this case is a little nicer than a trophy.
This is how Paul lives his life. Just a hint, Corinthians. Thanks to www.shmoop.com
The Kansas City Chiefs were yet another strange team in 2014, going from 0-2 to 7-3, then laying an egg to Oakland (even though they scored 20 points) & ultimately falling out of the AFC playoff picture. But the big story was safety Eric Berry's health. After that loss to the Raiders, he received an X-ray which revealed a mass in his chest believed to be lymphoma. He was placed on the non-football illness list, ending his season. A month later, Berry was confirmed to have Hodgskin's lymphoma. He has begun treatment & many of us are wishing him a strong recovery. My prayers have been & will be w/ him during this time. The Chiefs have made some moves during the off-season, bringing in free agents such as wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (reuniting w/ Jason Avant from Philadelphia) & safety Tyvon Branch. The pressure continues to be on head coach Andy Reid. He's been expected to make a Super Bowl run w/ this team & that hasn't happened. & he has yet to win a Super Bowl, pinning him on the list of one of the greatest coaches in league history to not accomplish the feat. Some fans have started to lost patience. Something's gotta give, right? I hope for the sake of Reid that this team finally turns to corner in 2015. It's been a long time coming since the franchise's last Super Bowl triumph (Super Bowl III), but Arrowhead remains one of the toughest places to play of opponents & as long as you have great fans supporting your team, you'll always have a shot to accomplish wins, divison titles, & maybe even a Lombardi trophy. This team still has work to do, but it looks like they're heading in the right direction. How far can & will they go? We'll discuss that as well as Eric Berry in our next installment of "The Rocket Sports Breakdown" Friday evening @ 6:30pm on Blog Talk Radio. Rocket Nation, get ready for a power trip.
John in CT & Mike in North NJ recap the US Open Championship from Chambers Bay in Washington. Jordan Spieth fights off a big comeback by Dustin Johnson in the final round only to be handed the trophy after Dustin shockingly three-putts the final green . It was a hotly contested final round with four people tied for the lead to start the day. John & Mike break down the keys to Spieth's win plus look at the disappointments by the others in the field, and an unfortunate bout with vertigo for Jason Day. Also: we look at FOX's freshman year of US Open coverage. Just how bad was it? John & Mike skewer the underwhelming broadcasts. PLUS: Tiger Woods' complete meltdown in the first two rounds. Is this the end of the line for Tiger Woods as a major contender? Full US Open coverage this week in the city.
