On tonight's show Rosie is going to discuss some important herbs and seeds to add to your diet that will help your thyroid glands and improve your overall health.
This herb has a funny name, but it has a lot of potential for those who are experiencing an underactive thyroid. This is because it has a high iodine content and iodine is one of the most important nutrients for your thyroid. By replacing iodine, it can help to improve an underactive thyroid.
You often hear about flaxseed when it comes to digestive health and while it is important for this because it is high in fiber, it also aids your thyroid. Those with underactive thyroid can help to boost their thyroid hormone ratio by consuming this herb on a daily basis. What is ideal about this herb is that you only need about one tablespoon every day to reap the full benefits.
Evening Primrose Oil
This herb is popular for women’s health, but it is also highly beneficial for the thyroid. In addition to aiding with underactive thyroid as a whole, it can also aid with the symptoms of this condition, such as reducing hair loss and heavy menstrual periods. It is often recommended to drink this as a tea for the most benefit.

"SHAMANIC ANIMAL SPIRIT GUIDES"
In the shamanic belief every thing is alive and carries with it power and wisdom. Power animals are an essential component of shamanic practice. They are the helping spirit which add to the power of the shaman and are essential for success in any venture undertaken by the shaman. Shamans believe that everyone has power animals – animal spirits which reside with each individual adding to their power and protecting them from illness, acting similarly to a guardian angel. Each power animal that you have increases your power so that illnesses or negative energy cannot enter your body.
Everyone Has a Power Animal
Everyone is thought to have a few of these guardian power animals, from childhood on. Over the course of her or his life the person may have several. If a power animal leaves and one does not come to take its place the individual is considered, by the shaman, to be disempowered and therefore vulnerable to illness and bad luck. Power animal retrieval is a healing where the shaman goes to find a new power animal for you.
Honoring Power Animals
It is important to honor your power animal. In shamanic work the power animal is essential, for a shaman who has no power is not going to have very good results. On a personal level, by honoring your power animal you let it know that its assistance is appreciated.
Finding Your Power Animal
If you would like to find out who your power animal is, consulting a shamanic practitioner is an option. But to discover this on you own, you can ask for a dream and see if anything comes up. You can ask the power animal to show itself to you and if you start seeing one or another animal frequently that would be its way of revealing itself to you.

Sorry Everyone. We dropped the ball last week with our Online Circle on Moringa (Moringa Oleifera). Google was in a mood and didn't want to allow the broadcast. No worries, let's go for round two tonight at 6:30 PM EST to pick up the discussion on Moringa, a powerful green herb I was recently reintroduced to last week in Jamaica, and why not... let's throw in other powerful green herbs such as spirulina, yerba mate, and more...
Please join the discussion and share your knowledge and ideas with the world. We want to hear about green herbs that have the potential to heal the world, particularly people who don't have access to unlimited supply of fresh food and clean water.
This should be an interesting discussion.

Most mass media hypnotized urban dwellers know very little about survival skills. There are basics of natural health and survival that even children should know. There are helpful plants that may be growing in your yard that could provide food, protection and other benefits. This knowledge could be crucial in an emergency situation. An exploration of fields and woods is very worthwhile, to learn to identify nature’s problems like poison ivy, ticks, stinging insects and sunburn, as well as edible plants and medicinal herbs.
