Art is an amazing tool to help us reach the deepest parts of ourselves. It speaks to us in ways that words cannot. Art can help us access our nonverbal language to bring personal growth, insight, and transformation. It enables us to connect with our feelings, thoughts, and perceptions. Through these images, we can come to understand who we are and enable us to express that self.
Join us as we welcome special guest, Michal Madison, watercolor artist and wounded healer, as she shares how art has become a friend along her healing path.
If you are the victim of sexual trauma and abuse, my guest Reverend Lail Ann Haynes will leave you feeling empowered and ready to allow love into your life.
Lail Ann Haynes is a native Oklahoman, an Ordained Non-Denominational Minister, a "Mother Teresa" to those she ministers to, and most importantly, she is a Survivor. Her life journey has been filled with severe trauma, including incestuous rape beginning at the age of 3, severe domestic violence, suicide, and a debilitating autoimmune disease leaving her bedridden for almost 2 years.
Today Reverend Lail is a whole and happy woman in a loving and supportive marriage with the love of her life. She is the mother to 3 beautiful children, and she has ended the pattern of generations of abuse. Through the love of her husband and her spiritual belief system, Reverend Lail has learned to love after abuse.
Reverend Lail is dedicated to helping others heal from the trauma caused by family rape and abuse, and shares her story to help others recover. She helps them learn to love… and to be loved… again.
Reverend Lail is an avid supporter of RAINN, the acronym for Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network, where she counsels and supports victims. In spite of her own physical limitations from autoimmune disease, she works diligently to increase awareness of this invisible illness. When health permits, Reverend Lail volunteers for local rape crises centers and as a Suicide Prevention Specialist in Oklahoma City.
Our conversation today will delve into both the darkness of abuse and the light of recovery. Please join me for a powerful conversation with this remarkable woman.
You can find Reverend Lail sharing her light and love via her website, ValIntuition and on Facebook.
This Thriver show is Sherry's story, about a childhood 'sweetheart' who ended up being her love partner in her 40's.
Sherry's story is one that many people including myself can relate to. False accusations, jealousy, and insane narcissistic projections – the things her partner was secretly doing.
Discover how Sherry was able to finally detach, say No Contact for ever, stay away and heal.
After only just after 8 months since her narc relationship Sherry has stated to the NARC Group and myself the difference between her life now is 'night' and 'day'.
I hope you enjoy her inspirational story.

We are more than "just a man on the planet Earth"
We are more than a robot, working from morning till night, working for the sake of working We are more than the body, trying to ascend and become immortal We are more than God attempting to awaken We have God out of our ranks, merit, education, practice, age
Healing takes many shapes. For example, as we grow, we encounter situations that can be incredibly painful, incredibly damaging. Bullying in school, cliques in the workplace, mean girls who grow into mean women, the list goes on and on. How we deal with these bitter blows in life is critical to our own happiness.
If you have experienced a divorce, you know how painful the aftermath can be. There are very few ‘civil’ divorces. But there are ways to move through this extreme life experience and come out whole on the other side.
Tune in and hear Turkessa Lee discuss her experiences, and her book “After The Gavel: The ABC’s of Happiness After Divorce” if YOU need some help with healing!
