    in Spirituality

Life as we have known it has operated from expectations--what you expect of yourself, others, institutions, your work, your relationships. As we move into a new way of being, those expectations keep us stuck in old energy that doesn’t fit our new life. How do we shift that energy? What do we do instead? Join Arlene Arnold and Leslie Romine to discuss a new way of creating life without expectations.

Author Tonya Barber talks "Not Like My Mama" with Cherry Bomb & Black Sapphire

    in Books

The Cherry Spot with Host Rosalind Cherry and new CoHost Krist McGee welcomes Author Tonya Barber to the interview platform.  She is a writer/poet with several books under her belt and we are glad she will be talking about her latest creative work "Not Like My Mama." We will travel this road with Rainy as she finds herself breaking a promise she made when she was only a child. Will she really end up like "her mama" or have the strength to break the cycle before it's too late.

Rainy’s mantra is that she will not grow up to be like her mama, but will she be strong enough to recognize the signs and stay clear of present dangers or will she recognize true love and leave the bitter past behind in hopes of the brighter tomorrow waiting just past the rain?

All calls and comments are welcome

power of perception Music with Irenka

    in Spirituality

    Here is my bio :

"Music is the plant that makes life more breathable" and "Changing the world one song at a time" are some of Irenka's mottos. She's not the conventional rebel, no tattoos, no BS, but she certainly doesn't fear crossing the ocean on her own and defying the charts with lovely titles like "A Reason To Hate Me", the sarcastic jazzy tune "I Don't Need No Lover" or her darkest track "It Burns" about physical abuse.

A true artist on a mission, a modern gypsy who loves to surprise, challenge the status quo, and utilize the power of music to relieve pain, bring joy and laughter, all while making you dance, sing and everything in between.

From the streets of Brussels, Belgium, to Paris, from Paris to England, from England to the United States, it's no surprise her colorful music crosses borders and genres with such ease. Whether playing Jimmy Van Zant's benefit concert in Alabama, an indie music festival in Bisbee, Arizona, sharing the stage with the Leftovers in San Francisco, or with Colin Huntley and Livision in Austin, Irenka will put on a show, for any crowd, any stage, any day. Her shows include some crowd interaction and is pretty edgy, moody and eclectic from pop to jazz, rock, hip hop, industrial and dark electro. Always there to surprise you with the unexpected.

Baked out of ROCK and SOUL, POP and HEART. It's sweet and sour, it's warm but fresh, it's cheesy then spicy. Ready to have a taste?.....

power of perception paranormal with Rory Cundiff and Jack Hill

    in Spirituality

Rory Cundiff: 48 year old semi-retired On-Air Personality.
Jack Hill: 46 year old exterminator with a taste for hot rods and racing.

We've had several different paranormal experiences, some even together as we grew up as neighbors in Somerset, KY. About 5 years ago we decided to investigate the unexplained in our spare time but only recently have taken it to the next level. We are a non profit that seeks to find out what is beyond our earthly life. We enter our investigations looking for an explanation and reason before we say a place is haunted. When other people run away, we run towards!

We have had great success investigating personal residences and cemeteries. We use digital recorders, K2, Cell Sensor, infrared photography, video, flashlight Q&A and some basic old school tricks. Jack and I consider ourselves "sensitive" in the meaning we attract spirits and entities. We plan on investigating Waverly Hills in Louisville and Bobby Mackies in Northern Kentucky very soon. We also plan on posting our investigations to YouTube as we work to become a professional name in the paranormal world. We'll share some of adventures with you during our interview!
