Is Black Studies in America on a rapid decline? Programs in Colleges and Universities are losing their grounds of interest, participation and support. Students are constantly not prepared to embrace or express their cultural selves to the world at large.

Join HC LIVE & DIRECT, as we introduce Dr. Michelle Gamble, DN -- a Board Certified non-medical Doctor of Natural Holistic Health She teaches various classes in health and wellness and assists people in their pursuit of spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health. One of her many passions is to facilitate the transformation of lives by empowering people with a deeper understanding of the tools needed to create holistic health. Her dynamic, engaging, and often humorous style has been known to captivate audiences of all ages.
For over 15 years Dr. Gamble has traveled extensively throughout the world, living, teaching and studying in several countries such as Belize , Japan , Nigeria , Jamaica , and North America. Since the age of 16, she has been a student and practitioner of Alternative Health Therapies, Nutrition, African Spirituality, Kametic Studies, Natural Family Planning, and the I Ching.
We are looking forward to Dr. Gamble sharing her expertise and spirit with the HC LIVE & DIRECT community on a regular basis each week.
In the first half of this week's program we will address a number of issues of concern, including the controversial role of Hip Hop -- the artists, their lyrics, their motivations and morality, and the impact of their works on the hearts and minds of our people.

World Out of Balance
Our two May shows focus on our belief that our world has reached a perilous tipping point of being out of balance energetically. We will discuss the pendulum having swung as far in the unexalted masculine (Yang) direction as human life on this planet can tolerate.
Our show is about the important place "where calm + consciousness meet." In these two shows we call upon ourselves and our audience to come to sober awareness of our lives, our choices, and our personal missions at this pivotal portal in human consciousness and evolution. The choices we make now could not be more important for life on this planet.
We will explore this topic globally, but also where we each live, in our everyday lives, feelings, and actions. We hope you find our May shows intriguing, engaging, and inspiring. May is the month of the Mother, the time of honoring the Feminine. At this time, we have never needed her more,.
