    TODAY'S SPOTLIGHT

CALIBER HOME LOANS COMPLETE LOSS MITIGATOIN REQUEST FOR MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE (RMA) SUBMITTED DUAL-TRACKING LAWS FOR SALE DATE CFPB MHA HAMP ESCALATIONS HELP RESPA RULES

    "the daily complaint"

Every weekday we answer client complaints on The Daily Complaint to provide direction and resources for both the person complaining as well as other consumers experiencing similar issues whether it be mortgage fraud, loan servicing escrow issues, loan modification runarounds or denials, short sale refusals, deed in lieu negotiations and credit card debt collector abuses and fraud violations.

I routinely look for posts to answer in hopes that it will not only bring optimism to those homeowners and borrowers in distress but also some basic information to assist in fighting the banks that are "too big to fail" like Bank of America and Citi but yet don't appreciate the bailout that we provided in their time of need.  The debt collectors like Ocwen and Nationstar are simply just piranhas but they can be beat at their own game too just like the big banks can be defeated.

We are committed to answering consumer complaints and addressing everyday credit and debt issues on The Daily Complaint and I thank you for your continued support!

We hope you enjoy the Show...

Cyber Security Panel co-sponsored by Atl_BDPA - Protecting Your Digital Identity

    in Technology

Find out HOW to Be Smart About How You Use Technology and Use Critical Thinking to Make Smart Decisions!

Risk-Based Security and Self-Protection with Gary Vause and Derrick Brown

All roads to the digital future lead through security. However, in a digital business world, security cannot be a roadblock that stops all progress. Organizations will increasingly recognize that it is not possible to provide a 100 percent secured environment. Once organizations acknowledge that, they can begin to apply more-sophisticated risk assessment and mitigation tools. On the technical side, recognition that perimeter defense is inadequate and applications need to take a more active role in security gives rise to a new multifaceted approach. Security-aware application design, dynamic and static application security testing, and runtime application self-protection combined with active context-aware and adaptive access controls are all needed in today's dangerous digital world. This will lead to new models of building security directly into applications. Perimeters and firewalls are no longer enough; every app needs to be self-aware and self-protecting.

    in Finance

According to a recent article is DS News, NeighborWorks America , a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit  , has announced the awarding of $44.8 million to various organizations in the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling program to help distressed families and individuals whose homes are facing foreclosure.

While foreclosure numbers have declined significantly since the peak years of 2010 and 2011, a recent uptick in foreclosure starts demonstrates the need still exists for loss mitigation programs and non-profit expertise.

Home Means Nevada is another unique non-profit / governmental partnership created to assist struggling homeowners.  Home Means Nevada is a Nevada State affiliated nonprofit organization established for the development and execution of homeowner assistance and outreach programs and events to address the challenges and needs of distressed homeowners.

Joining the broadcast to discuss the expanding role of non-profits in the mortgage industry is Anna Zakowska, CEO of Home Means Nevada.

Anna launched the Nevada Home Retention Program designed to assist those individuals and families at risk of losing their homes who have not been helped by other housing programs.

    in Entertainment

Nothing directly affects our health, wellness and longevity more than the water we drink, cook and shower with. We're told it's healthy for us to swallow in a glass of water but then again toothpaste companies are forced to warn us to call a Poison Control Center if we swallow the equivalent dose in toothpaste. ? It's affecting everybody's health and well-being. Harvard School of Medicine links Fluoride to Reduced Children's IQ, Improper Brain Development and Cognitive Disorders. The Lancet Medical Journal classifies it as a Harmful Neurotoxin like Lead, Arsenic and Mercury. Concussion and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury

    in Health

March 27, 2015: At Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas, physical therapists often see patients who have suffered a mild traumatic brain injury or concussion in the line of duty. Sometimes the concussion is the result of an explosion in combat. Other times, it might be due to a fall or collision during training.

Lt Col Tony Cromer Jr, suffered a concussion due to a more common workplace hazard, when his head was slammed by an opening door. The effects of that workplace accident, including headaches and dizziness, were the same as they often are for soldiers on the battlefield.

In this episode, physical therapist Miriam Hammerle, PT, Cert SMT, and Cromer discuss his injury and treatment.
