But what is this path that could lead us to our inner joy and happiness?  Thank you for listening to Happiness Index on Blog Talk Radio.  Join us in this conversation and make the world better for all, call (347) 539-5818.

    Responsibility: A Path to Happiness

    in Relationships

We continue to focus on the role we play each moment each day to effect and ignite happiness. “A man is not rightly conditioned until he is a happy, healthy, and prosperous being; a man cannot directly choose his circumstances, but he can choose his thoughts, and so indirectly, yet surely, shape his thoughts, yet surely, shape his circumstances.”James Allen, author of As a Man Thinketh, said.  This wisdom is congruent to the wisdom of the ages. “Change your mind change your LIFE.” said Dr. Gerald Jampolsky.”  If we want inner peace and happiness, we must make the necessary efforts to make the change by thinking harmonious, peaceful and happy thoughts every moment. Thank you for tuning in to “Happiness Index”.  We would love to hear your wisdom on this very important subject, please call (347) 539-5818.

#3 - Responsibility: Path to Happiness

    in Relationships

We continue to focus on the role we play each moment each day to effect and ignite happiness. “A man is not rightly conditioned until he is a happy, healthy, and prosperous being; and happiness, health, and prosperity are the result of a harmonious adjustment of the inner with the outer, of the man with his surroundings.” James Allen, author of As a Man Thinketh, said.  This wisdom is congruent to the wisdom of the ages. “We ourselves must walk the path.” Buddha said. We must take the necessary efforts to make the change.  What steps, must one take that could lead to one’s inner joy and happiness?

Hope, Service & Responsibility: A Path to Happiness

    in Relationships

You are listening to Happiness Index and we continue to deepen our conversation on Happiness. We will be sharing our views on hope, service and responsibility as a path to happiness.  We will explore views expressed by Vaclav Havel, former President of the Czech Rebubic on hope.  Vaclav Havel said,  Hope is definitely not the same thing as optimism.  It is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out.  A Course in Miracles reminds us that happiness is our choice and that the only thing we need do for vision, happiness and release from pain of any kind is to say these word and mean them with no reservations.   I am responsible for what I see.  I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide on the goal I would achieve. and that everything that seems to happen, I ask for and receive as I have asked. Our conversation  today will be on hope, service & responsibility as a path to happiness.  Thank you for listening to Happiness Index on Blog Talk Radio.  Join us in this conversation and be the change you want to see in the world, call (347) 539-5818.

Hope & Service: A Path to Happiness

    in Relationships

Thank you for listening to Happiness Index and we are continuing our conversation on service.  Today we deepen the conversation with the theme Hope & Service: A Path to Happiness."  Our current President, Barack Obama said, “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.” Today is Easter Sunday. It is a time of forgiveness, a time for us to look upon each other with different eyes, a time for the gift of lilies. Let us look with fresh eyes this coming Easter; let us let forgiveness be the way we walk with each.  This is a time of renewal and a time to start anew and let our past go.  Our focus today will be on the value of hope to inspire us to serve and how forgiveness can be our fuel for service.  Thank you for listening to Happiness Index on Blog Talk Radio.  Join us in this conversation and make the world better for all, call (347) 539-5818.

Heart Service: A Path to Happiness

    in Relationships

Thank you for listening to Happiness Index and we are continuing our conversation on service.  Today we deepen the conversation with the theme "Heart Service: A Path to Happiness."  We have many leaders that have been servant leaders.  However, we view Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as one of our greatest servant leaders.  Dr. King was clear about service and its power our heart work.  He said, “Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”  He was equally clear about his path.  He said, “Let no man pull you so low as to hate him.” He deepen his resolve when he said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”   We are encouraging you to take the high road as you are dealing with difficult issues as you serve humanity.   Thank you for listening to Happiness Index on Blog Talk Radio.  Join us in this conversation on service and make the world better for all, call (347) 539-5818.

Responsibility: A Path to Happiness featuring Kokomon Clottey

    in Relationships

Welcome to Happiness Index!  Today, our focus will be on the role we play each moment each day to effect and ignite happiness. “I am responsible for what I see. I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve. And everything that seems to happen to me I ask for, and receive as I have asked”.  The following quote is taken from A course in Miracles. As we come to the realization of the source of our happiness, we can make changes. We can choose to be happy learners.  We can make happiness our choice and we can choose love over fear, peace instead of conflict.  We can choose to be responsible for every choice that we make. Join us in this conversation and make the world better for all, call (347) 539-5818.

Hope: A Path to Happiness featuring Kokomon Clottey

    in Relationships

Today our focus will be on Hope: Path to Happiness. For many Non Christians, Easter means little more than fluffy bunnies and chocolate eggs. I must admit that I once watched children hunting for Easter eggs and saw the joy the bounty brought. However, the Story of Easter is a high point on the Christian calendar of the journey of Jesus the Christ, from death to resurrection.  This coming Sunday, April 5th is Easter.  It is a time of forgiveness, a time for us to look upon each other with different eyes, a time to give the gift of lilies. Let us look with fresh eyes on each other and all things this coming Easter; let us let forgiveness be the way we walk with each.  This is a time of renewal and a time to start anew and let our past go.  Join the conversation as we explore the power of hope and the role hope plays every day.  Tune in to a Happiness Index and join us by dialing (347) 539-5818 and share your wisdom on this 2000-year-old story.
