A Patriot's Prophecy: A State of the Union Discussion with Judge Hal Moroz

    in Politics

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."  Thomas Jefferson

Is the state of the Union what Washington, Adams and Jefferson hoped for?  Is the current state of the Union what Jefferson predicted?  Could we be witnessing the implosion of the greatest experience in liberty the world has known?

Listen as a modern-day patriot shares the same passion for America and the Constitution as did the Founding Fathers.

Hal Moroz is an Attorney & Counselor at Law who has served as a county judge and city chief judge in the State of Georgia. He is a retired U.S. Army airborne Infantry officer, legal educator, and practicing attorney. His practice in the law has ranged from small local courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Judge Moroz has served on the faculty of Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, and the State Bar of Georgia's Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). He served as Special Counsel to the Georgia Republican Party's First Congressional District Committee in the 2000 primary and general elections, and went on to serve as a Presidential Ballot Inspector/Observer during the 2000 "recount" in Florida. Judge Moroz is also a prolific writer, having authored numerous legal articles, weekly legal newspaper columns, and books.

Examination of Hal Lindsey Report of Imminent Coming of the Lord

    in Religion

Hal Lindsey, best know for his "The Late Great Planet Earth" book published in the early 70's, is now and once again, predicting the imminent coming of the Lord. Do only religious people have short attention spans.

We will not allow a candidate for president or other public office to forget something they said. In fact, we don't even allow sports announcers and sports athletetes to get away with lying. Yet, Hal Lindsey has made one false prediction after another while no one seems to remember.

OTG-OTC: Hal Shurtleff: Talking John Birch Society, Common Core, COS & More

    in Politics Conservative

Just the mention of the John Birch Society (JBS) sparks every emotion from fear, disdain, and hatred … to feelings of patriotism and fierce loyalty.   The JBS has been defined by other Conservatives, let alone Leftists … as an ultra-conservative, conspiracy-driven, racist, organization, "far removed from common sense."  Although organized in 1958, and still thriving today, some of the darkest decades for JBS were the 60’s and 70’s.  But does the JBS, today, still resemble the JBS of years ago?  And, while many balk at the very mention of the John Birch Society … can individuals actually recite any specific instances to back up their disfavor (without Googling, that is)?  How much of the criticism and disparagement of JBS is accurate?

Debbie Barth and guest panel member, Lynn Thornily Bensy will be talking with Hal Shurtleff, Regional Field Director of the John Birch Society.  They will be talking about the history of JBS, the changes (if any), and the political stance of JBS in 2015.

And … there will be so much more up for discussion, as well.  For example, what does JBS think about Common Core in schools?  How does Mr. Shutleff feel about the Article V Convention of States that has every implication of changing the U.S. Constitution, as we know it?

Mr. Shurtleff will also be talking about Camp Constitution, a week-long family event centered on the teaching and discussion of U.S. Constitution.  This is an upcoming event the week of July12-July 19, 2015, so tune in for the details!

Women's World Cup, Pittsburgh's Meghan Klingenberg with reporter Hal Kaiser

    in Sports

Pittsburgh has a heightened stake in this year's Women's World Cup, as Gibsonia native and Pine-Richland High School graduate Meghan Klingenberg is a key member of Team USA. Joining host Matt Gajtka to discuss this is Hal Kaiser, who covers Klingenberg and the professional Houston Dash for the website Keeper Notes. Kaiser, who is currently in Canada for the World Cup, analyzes Klingenberg's role with the American team, which won its first match of the tournament earlier this week. Matt and Hal also go over the World Cup at large, especially Team USA's quest for its first trophy since 1999. Can they be considered the co-favorites, or has the rest of the world caught up to a degree that makes those expectations unrealistic?
