“Our habits create our lives.” In the cancer dance, you have to make new habits – even if you don’t want to. In discussing creating good habits in his life, a patient told Dr. Ken Weizer, “It’s easy to say but hard to do.” Dr. Weizer had a different take on it. Listen as Dr. Weizer talks about how to help yourself do the good habits that you should do. A discussion that everyone can take something from, whether you have cancer or not.
Growning up how much did you know about money and how it worked. Who taught you how to save, write checks and balnce your checking account? Remember your homework as a child that showed you what money looked liked and how to count your change ? What habits have you learned that you have taught your children ? Lets share our stories of how we learned to manage our money and how we can do better as a community of people.
Are you feeling overwhelmed? Exhausted? Author Jane Rubietta will chat with Maxine and Jeannie on The River about our human tendency to overwork. We worship busyness, she says, by filling our time with activities and then passing that habit on to our children. In her book, Finding Life: From Eden to Gethsemane—the Garden Restored, she urges us to rethink how Christ is calling us to live our lives. We don’t need to apologize for resting, Rubietta says, rest can be a stepping stone to our own growth and development as beings made in the image of God.
But, “Choosing life also means choosing death. This is the paradox.” The death we choose is to old habits. Old ways of doing life. Activities that keep us locked in a prison of dysfunction and despair.

Negative Thinking - Becoming Aware of the Habits.
It has been estimated that the human mind creates more than 70,000 thoughts every day. It has been estimated that more than 85% of those thoughts are negative.
A person who dwells on negative thinking becomes more depressed, bitter, unhappy, and frustrated every day. And then wonders why their life is so miserable.
All thinking patterns can be changed. Even the negative ones. Your future thinking is like a magnet pulling your thoughts in directions which match the feelings attached to the thought. Unfortunately, most people are focusing their thoughts on what they don't want, and all the not enough's in their life, and letting the habits of the past get in the way of conscious creation.
Today we will share an energy tool to assist you in living in the NOW and being Aware...Remember, Awareness is the First Step!
