This week on "All About Gwinnett", our guest is District 3 commissioner Tommy Hunter. Mr. Hunter was elected in 2012. Prior to that, he served as DOT Coordinator for the Department of Public Utilities where he designed and managed the relocation of public utilities for all road construction projects.
He also served over four years as a member of the Gwinnett County Water and Sewerage Authority, serving as Secretary of the Authority in 2008.
His run for County Commissioner wasn’t an easy one as a crowded field resulted in no candidate receiving the required majority of the vote.
Although he wasn’t the top vote-getter in the general election, he came out on top in the run-off. Tune in Sunday night June 14th, at 8:00 pm, to hear Commissioner Hunter talk "All About Gwinnett".
This week’ s guest on “ All About Gwinnett is US Congressman Rob Woodall. Mr. Woodall represents the 7th congressional District of Georgia which includes portions of Gwinnett and Forsyth Counties. In addition to serving the 7th district, Mr. Woodall also serves on House Committee on Rules, the House Budget Committee, and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

A life-long resident of Gwinnett County, Ms. Wilkerson served as a City Council member before being elected mayor.

As a result of that briefing, three freeholders urged County Executive James Tedesco to "begin a dialog" with Bergen Regional Medical Center aimed at expanding the number of beds in the hospital's detox unit.
