    Fly Away Hero Fancalls

    in Entertainment

Fly Away Hero is a band out of Dallas, TX, comprised of Dalton Rapattoni (vocals/guitar), Hunter Lucas (guitar), Hunter Knoche (drums), and Cat (bass).  Their sound is based in rock but easily crosses from pop to punk to alternative, and at times even a little southern/outlaw rock.

Fly Away Hero has taken a long and twisted road to get where they are today.  Founding members, Dalton and Hunter started out as childhood best friends playing classic rock covers.  They formed a band and before long had a strong local following.  After only 2 EPs with Fly Away Hero, Dalton was offered an opportunity to move to LA as a part of the boyband IM5.  After 3 years of touring and performing with the group, Dalton realized that he could no longer ignore his love of screaming guitars and loud drums, and he decided to return to his rock roots and to Texas, where he re-formed the band.

FAH just completed their 5 song debut CD with producer Matt Noveskey of platinum selling band Blue October. Release date is set for January 6, 2015. Check out their upcoming tour dates, and follow them on Facebook and on Twitter @FlyAwayHero to stay in touch with the band for the latest news. #Nobodies, #Flyers get ready to talk to Fly Away Hero LIVE on Fancalls! 646-929-1325

Clean Bills - Sanger the Hero - Ferguson Fools

    in Politics

Hr1  Christianity Today defends Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger.

Newly approved Palcohol... a dry form of alcohol to mix with water. So that it's easier to get your alcohol on the go when you need it. Do we really need this?

Why can't Republicans and Democrats agree on a bill to crack down on human-trafficking? Because they always want to add "other" stuff into the bills. Cracking down on human-trafficking should be a no-brainer. Why can't we have a CLEAN bill?

Joe Biden laments the Middle Class.

Hr2   Sean Hannity asks Ferguson protesters their thoughts on the DOJ report. It didn't turn out the way they wanted it to, so they're going to keep protesting until they get their perceived justice.

Christianity Today defends Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger. I guess they forgot her legacy of murder (abortion)? Margaret Sanger wanted to rid world of "the unfit." She didn't mean birth defects, she meant blacks. She's not a hero! Know your history!

Hr3  Denzel Washington dishes on his religious upbringing and his faith in God and the Bible.

War on Christianity (not all religions). You don't see the Quran and Torah being banned from schools, military, and public places like is happening with the Bible.

Celebrities who "come out" vocal about their Christian faith.

Are you looking for your blessing? When was the last time you blessed someone else?

Ferguson police setup & got themselves shot to gain sympathy, according to neighboring city clerk. OMG! Really?!

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?

CM Radio - Mar 25, 2015 - Thomas D'Arcy, Rebel Hero, Luke Nicholson

    in Music

Lots to talk about in this episode, with four - yep, four - interviewees.

Thomas D'Arcy's latest full-length, Fooled You Twice, dropped in early March and since, it's been getting a lot of positive attention. New Canadian Music, for example, said, "Pop craftsman Thomas D'Arcy is at his melodic and catchy best on second solo record Fooled You Twice." Mike chats with Thomas about the album and a lot more.

Luke Nicholson's Frantic City is his most poignant album to date. Having written the majority of material for this record while touring away from his new born daughter, one can hear the love, and maturity in both his lyrics and delivery. He's also launched an interesting new contest we'll chat about.

Mike also catches up with Toronto's Rebel Hero, a funk-rock trio with an impressive resume that's taking part in the April 4, 2015 edition of Generation Next Live at the Phoenix.

Finally, we speak with musician, engineer, producer, and studio owner Mike Saracino about his new initiative, The Globe Series, which takes him around the world to record on-the-rise musicians and spawn international collaborations.

GREGORY WALCOTT: HERO OF GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE

    in Film

Late actor Gregory Wallcott played the heroic lead in PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE, that many critics condemn as "The Worst Movie Ever Made." Grindhouse screen stars John Link, Edward X Young, & Cameron Scott think it's greater than "Citizen Kane." GREGORY WALLCOTT, whose screen career spanned almost five decades, including many Oscar-winning pictures such as NORMA RAE, died in Los Angeles on March 20, 2015 at age 87. For a long time, Walcott, fled from recognition of his participation in Edward D Wood Jr.'s 1959 science-fiction horror classic that co-starred BELA LUGOSI, VAMPIRA, & TOR JOHNSON. However, in latter years, he embraced his role, even taking a part in Tim Burton's biopic tribute ED WOOD, playing an investor in "Plan 9 from Outer Space." The John Link Show's friend, CONRAD BROOKS, who co-starred in that same picture relays his loving recollections of this admired Hollywood star, who has left us behind on Planet Earth. We all dearly miss Gregory Wallcott.
