Vital Signs: The Nature and Nurture of Passion with Gregg Levoy

    in Self Help

SoulMates find each other when they are pursuing a life of passion and purpose.

When was the last time you felt truly in love with your life?
When was the last time you felt awed by the world around you?

If you are longing for deeper relationships, a greater sense of wonder, and a more vibrant life, the skill you need to cultivate is PASSION!

    Did you know:
    • Passion can be cultivated. Turned on as well as turned off.
    • Passion is in the risk.
    • Passion breeds passion and disinterest breeds disinterest. If you lack passion in your life, your relationships will be denied that energy.
    • Passion is more than exuberance; it's endurance.
    • To the degree that passion is vitality, honoring your passions enhances your vitality.

Gregg Levoy’s Vital Signs: The Nature and Nurture of Passion is all about how to do this, discussing the endlessly fruitful tug-of-war between freedom and domestication. It is about the wild in us and the tame, our natural selves and our conditioned selves.

Annette Vaillancourt, Ph.D. interviews best selling author, Gregg Levoy. He is a former adjunct professor of journalism at the University of New Mexico, and columnist and reporter for USA Today and the Cincinnati Enquirer, he has written for the New York Times Magazine, Washington Post, Omni, Psychology Today, Reader’s Digest.

LivingEden: Gregg Braden "Turning Point" and Simone Matthews "Shealla Dreaming"

    in Spirituality

I'll be sharing very powerful practical ways to co-create the New Earth from each of Gregg's and Simone's books.  In watching the Superbowl and realizing that 250,000,000.00 people were watching together I thought if we had that many people interested and intending together what would happen??  It is interesting that that many people will tune in to the Superbowl but not re-creating the planet.  And the Superbowl was for me a disappointing end of a battle of fist fighting.  We seem to love violence more than peace, love, and joy.  what is our fun nowadays??  Even the advertisements had lots of violence and darkness in them and machine type activations.  Today I am taking all of this immense energy into a co-create Eden on Gaia streaming energy with Gregg & Simone's simple easy tools.  We'll stand in our POWER: P=Divine PRESENCE, O=Oneness, W=Wisdom, E=Ecstasy and R=Radiance and collect all the immense power of Superbowl and these brilliant authors service to us and electrify magnificence.....

YOU are all needed and BEING YOU is needed.  I love you all and thank you for your support and loving me and LivingEden.....  I invite you to read "Turning Point" and "Shealla Dreaming".  Simone Matthews is starting her journey around the planet and this is a way to support that journey also.  Please send in questions, sharings, insights to help me support you to blogtalkradio.com/livingeden or www.iamgoddessiam.com.  There are comment boxes on the bottom of the pages.  More support for you energetically from Stacy Goforth and Valinda Salva at www.crystalvibejewelry.etsy.com.  We will have them on the show again soon.

I will be on vacation in Florida for a month so I am replaying past shows for you during this time.  Have a fabulous February and keep co-creating Eden together.

    Project Empowerment - Gregg Krech

    in Self Help

Project Empowerment is delighted to have on author, poet, and one of the leading authorities on Japanese Psychology in North America, Gregg Krech.

His work has been featured in THE SUN magazine, Tricycle, SELF, Utne Reader, Counseling Today, Cosmopolitan and Experience Life.  He is also the Director of the ToDo Institute.  We’ll be discussing his newest book, The Art of Taking Action:  Lessons From Japanese Psychology.

This beautiful book draws on Easter philosophy, Buddhism, Japanese Psychology, Zen, and Martial Arts to offer an approach to ACTION that goes beyond productivity and time management.  He addresses practical issues such as procrastination, stress, anxiety and indecision through the lens of classic Eastern wisdom.  It’s not just about getting things, done, but about what you do, how you do it and impact your action (and inaction) on the world around you.  Your karma.  Your legacy.
