The Green Bay Packers held their annual Family Night Saturday. Who stood out, and did we find anything out a week before the Packers' first preseason game? Plus, we preview the quareterbacks and defensive backs with the Green Bay Press Gazette's Wes Hodkiewicz at 8:10.
The Wisconsin Badgers held their football media day on Sunday. What did head coach Paul Chryst have to say about position changes, new roster additions and attrition? We'll highlight the changes on the roster plus play audio from outside linebacker Vince Biegel, and defensive line coach Inoke Breckerfield.
The Jacksonville Jaquars are almost a forgotten team for a good portion of the NFL fan base - after all the last time they appeared in the playoffs was 2007 and the last time they went 500 was in 2010. That's a long time.
For Next Fan Up's Jaquars superfan, Ryan this season is all about seeing quarterback Blake Bortles finally getting a great tight end in Julus Thomas. Plus the AFC South's second place position is wide open and there is hope that the Jaguars could step into that spot and with time and good draft choices be a contender against the Colts.

Chris and Dave are back for their 11th season of Packers Therapy, launching it by commenting on the Packers doubling up the New England Patriots in the preseason opener. The gents share things that pleased them, disappointed them, and surprised them in the 22-11 victory. They are pretty much in sync in their views, except when it comes to Scott Tolzein and Alonzo Harris.
Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don't always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.
The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will preview the NFC North. The Green Bay Packers had the Seattle Seahawks on the ropes, for most of the NFC Championship, but came up short. Where do the Green Bay Packers have to upgrade to make a legitimate run at the Super Bowl? The Detroit Lions have been trying to figure out a way to win the North, with the loss of Ndamukong Suh, can they compete, in the division? The Minnesota Vikings have put together some young talent, and seem to have found a franchise quarterback. Is 2015 the year the Vikings can make some noise? The Chicago Bears were a major disappointment in 2014, what do they need to improve on, to get back to the playoffs?
Jacob and Jason discuss the Packers 22-11 win over the New England Patriots in the preseason opener. Who had the best night and are there any major areas of concern after just one preseason game? Another special Thursday edition of the Grueling Truth brings another great guest as we welcome Don"Majik Man" Majkowski to the show. In College Don led the University of Virgina to there first ever bowl appearance in the 1984 Peach bowl. He was later drafted in the 10th round of the 1987 draft by the Green Bay Packers, after starting on and off during the 1987-88 season he was named the starting QB at the start of the 1989 season. He had one of the greatest seasons in Green Bay Packers history leading the NFL in passing yards with 4,318 and also throwing 27 TD passes. At the end of the season he was names to the NFC Pro Bowl Team. Succsses was cut short in the 10th game of the 1990 season when he tore his rotator cuff. He didnt get his starting job back until the 1992 season when injuries struck again, in the third game of the season he torn a ligament in his ankle against the Cincinnati Bengals and was replaced by Brett Favre basically ending his career with the Packers. He spent the next two seasons as a backup QB for the Indianapolis colts. He finished his career with the Detroit Lions were in his last start he led the Lions to victory over the Seattle seahawks.
It is a shame there isn't much news surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers recently. If there were injuries, intriguing signings, and a team preparing for their final "dress rehearsal" of the preseason...oh wait, all of that is stuff is going on in the Steel City this week.
