To Look on Death No More by Leta Serafim: Historical Novel Set in 1943 Greece

    in Books

In autumn of 1943, a lone allied soldier parachutes into Greece. His stated goal: to build an airstrip for the British. Brendon O'Malley is an Irishman, and he soon discovers that fighting the Nazis is not the same as embracing the British, who have seriously misled him about his mission.

    Review

The Devil Takes Half: (Starred Review) "Serafim's dense prose is perfect for lovers of literary and scholarly mysteries. Her plotting is methodical and traditional, with subtle nods to Sherlock Holmes, Greek mythology, and historical events." --Library Journal

Naked Bike Rides - Extortion 17 - Greece issues

    in Politics

Hr1  World Naked Bike Ride... why?!
Wayne Allyn Root talking Obama, SCOTUS, Obamacare, no political correctness here! Straight-shooter.
Joe and Wayne at 900 miles/hour!

Hr2   The Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled Ten Commandments monument unconstitutional. Unbelievable.

Don Brown talks about the incident of Seal Team helicopter mission Extortion17 crash. Too many inconsistencies, unanswered questions, misdirection, broken protocol, and 30 fallen troops. Military coverup.

Hr3  Walking thru the Hillary audio archives. Hypocrisy?

Can anyone explain Hillary Clinton's change of heart about the "sacred bond" of marriage?

Just how bad off is Greece? Are we headed down the same road?

And now, Puerto Rico wants a bailout. Get in line! Just say NO!

Pay attention to those kindergarten enrollment forms. You don't have to answer all those questions!

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?

There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.

Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.

But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!

I was just thinking... Greece, Puerto Rico Bankruptcy and You?

    in Politics

What do we have to do with white folks business? Are we living in critical times? Are we all on the brink of collapse?

    Yes...

Greece the so-called cradle of Western Civilization is failing due to those who started WW1 and WW2.

Tonight we will talk about the reason we should be concerned.

Greece: Greece's population is around 10.8 million. Athens is the nation's capital and largest city, with Thessaloniki being the second largest and referred to as the co-capital. Greece is strategically located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa. Situated on the southern tip of the Balkan Peninsula, Greece shares land borders with Albania to the northwest, the Republic of Macedonia and Bulgaria to the north and Turkey to the northeast. The Modern Greek state, which was established in 1830 following the war of independence from the Ottoman Empire, traces its roots to the civilization of Ancient Greece, which is considered the cradle of all Western civilization.

So why are they letting the foundation of Western Civilization fall by the wayside?
