Hey there Tea Sippers! Today's show will take a different approach to how we will honor and celebrate those who have given their lives in the devastation of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
As we progress and move forward, honoring those we've lost, respecting those who have been on the forefront of rebuilding the country, we also have had to move forward with our lives and build our consciousness into being safer, protecting our children, protecting our livlihoods, protecting our communities, protecting our WORLDS.... we have to understand that even through tragedy, we must find the goodness that keeps us, sustains us to count our blessings and be grateful for what we have!
To help us facilitate the attitude of gratitude, my guest today will enlighten us on how we can overcome adversity through hardships and tragedy. Rev. Sharon Jacobson, former pastor of Tawa Pano Unity Fellowship Church, Rochester, NY and creator of Inspiritual.biz, will introduce to us a spiritual teaching that will open our eyes and our hearts in an effort to usher in a new consciousness that will compliment all that is needed to restore your faith in your journey while dealing with and overcoming your adversities.
Have all of your crumpets together as we delve into the collective while we honor those who have rejoined the collective and are now our ancestors guiding us along this journey.....

Are you grieving? Your initial response might be 'no', but consider this: We grieve about all sorts of things besides death and trauma. We can grieve about loss of health or loss of a job, a divorce or major rejection, bullying, and more. Today's guest is Deborah Campbell with Performance Psychology. We're going to be talking about coping with grief; how to recognize it in our lives, how gender can affect the grieving person, and other aspects of grief we might not ever have known. We're also going to identify some of the WORST things you can do when you're trying to be supportive of a grieving person, and some of the BEST things you can do.
