At 12, Reverend Jimmie Bratcher’s dad put an ad in the Kansas City Star; “Will trade 1958 Desoto for electric guitar and amplifier”. The rest is history, as Jimmie still owns the guitar and amp and used the guitar on some songs on his latest release, Secretly Famous. Why does Jimmie feel like Secretly Famous is his first album? Where is he heading today and tomorrow? I will sit with “The Rev” and explore his past, present and future.
Doug MacLeod has been doing what he loves for over 40 years; playing the blues, traveling and meeting his fans, teaching guitar and playing the blues on the radio. Mentored by George “Harmonica” Smith who also nicknamed him “Dubb”, Doug continues to make music while continuing his life as an ordained minister. He was named Acoustic Artist of The Year at the 2010 Blues Music Awards and is up for that honor again this year. His latest album, There’s A Time, is full of wonderful music. I will sit with Doug and discuss his journey while we check out the music.

This week Kelly has the 2013 AVN "Best Transsexual Sex Scene" winner TS Foxxy.
Foxxy was born and raised in the Sonoran Desert of Tucson, AZ. Then moved to Las Vegas and became a go-go dancer at the Las Vegas Lounge, which was known as an alternative lounge/bar. During the 2005 AVN Award Show a director recruiting girls approached her to do some solo modeling which then turned into hardcore Foxxy is now one of the top selling transsexual p0rnstars of our time. Since then she has appeared in a few mainstream gigs such as “Gigolos” a television reality adult series based around male gigolos in Las Vegas, another was a Indy film called "American Hoe" which was about hard working American girls in the adult business and the power they have with men and the types of men they encountered. After her success with that she was approached to do an online series called “My Dead Diaries”. More mainstream acts are in the works. Along with acting both in p0rn and mainstream she is also a radio favorite being heard on multiple stations some including Spice Radio, Playboy Radio, The Jason Ellis Show and many more. This is just the tip of the iceberg for this girl and the best is yet to come.
Death Metal Domesticated is a celebration of food, focusing on the home cook. I am just a guy who has three real loves in this world. I love wrestling (and am a fully trained pro wrestler), loud, angry music, and cooking for the people I care about. When I was a little kid, my mom took the time to teach me how to cook. You see the week before her back had gone out really badly and the family was forced to live of of the one thing I as a child knew how to make, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Now, as much as i love a classic P-B and J, I don't want one every day. Fast forward a few years to the age of Food Television. As a big diy kind of person, I wanted to replicate some of the dishes I was seeing. When I started messing around some of the flavors and techniques that I saw, I realized how easy it can be to really take a dish from OK to amazing. To me, well prepared food is an expression of love. When you are cooking for family, friends, your significant other, a girl/guy you hope to impress, you always want to try to bring it up just a little bit. There is so much out there to try, and a lot of it can be intimidating. I hope to make it all just a little more attainable. What Death Metal Domesticated wants to do is help you take that first step. Do you enjoy cooking and want to step up your game? Are you afraid to step into the kitchen and want a little hand holding? I can help you with that. So feel free to have a listen, look through some pictures and if nothing else, enjoy yourself. I know I will!Spread the word!
Tony Gambone interviews the newest host with the Tough Talk Radio Network Team.
A born treasure hunter with a gypsy soul I dreamed of faraway places I would go to as a child. Walking barefoot most days except when I was lucky enough to go to the city dump with my grandpa, you had to wear shoes there. I loved digging through the tossed items looking for treasure and on some days we did find some, like the day grandpa found a brand new watch from the local jewelry store’s trash.
Little did I know that later I would be digging through treasures I would find in the smalls stalls and shops in Jakarta Indonesia, Karachi and Islamabad Pakistan or the Blue Suks of Sharjah in the UAE. Or that one day I would be standing in front of the Sphinx then yelling at a local who was smoking in a tomb and cared so little for the fact that it was still there. Not even in my daydreams did I see myself walking the streets of Katmandu and get blessed by a Hindu priest who put red paint on my forehead and the top of my head gave me a dead flower and just smiled at me. I walked blisters on my feet in Rome, sat on stone seats in Pompeii and marveled at what was left and what was gone. I cried at the feet of David and wanted to badly to be able to go back in time for just one moment to be there and watch his creation. I have walked the beaches of Honolulu, Perth, Bali, Penang, Phuket, Singapore and rode the street cars of San Francisco. I believe dreams come true.
