Power Talk interviews a Domestic Engineer
Power Talk with host Linda Ballesteros with Special Guest Jackie Anderson
Jackie Anderson is a domestic engineer, the people that I work for call me MOM. I homeschool my two girls, Madison 14 & Averee 10. I am to young, but have an adult child, Samuel, 19 that I homeschooled for 2 yrs then graduated from Magnolia High School. Until November of 2011, I was a married single parent. I have been married to a wonderful man, Miles Anderson, for 23 years. He had been working for 24 years and was able to give that six figure a year job back to the economy, due to the industry of Network Marketing. Because of the industry, I am a firm believer in self education and personal development. I have personally developed so much that I don't even recognize myself but am loving who I am becoming. Health and wellness is the niche in which I am constantly improving my knowledge. I love sharing the information over a cup of Healthier Gourmet, Upgraded, Customizable, Portable coffee.

Grammy Nomination 2013 : Best New Age Music
Perhaps some of you may have heard of the concept that healing music is delivered not by sound but by the space and silence in synergy with the sound. Or perhaps been shared a you tube video entitled : Scalus Interuptus. If you have, then you‘ve heard of Steven Halpern. Indeed, his time has finally come. A 2013 Grammy nomination for the Best New Age Album for his work entitled, "Deep Alpha". The CD , DEEP ALPHA: Brainwave Entrainment for Deep Meditation and Healing features the healing tones of the legendary Rhodes Mark 7 electric piano and subtle sustained harmonies. Behind the pleasant ambient music on DEEP ALPHA, Halpern’s scientifically-researched Aural-Sync™ brainwave synchronization tones gently guide one’s brain into a DEEP ALPHA state of 8 Hz (8 cycles per second), which naturally synchronizes with the fundamental harmonics of the earth itself. Simply by listening, one becomes naturally and almost immediately relaxed, rejuvenated and empowered for optimal healing and creativity.

Cool Jazz Conversation with Grammy Winner Gonzalo Rubalcaba
Gonzalo Rubalcaba is a jazz pianist. A prolific virtuoso and composer, he fuses Cuban and American influences into a powerful and innovative hybrid. Known for his stupefying and unbridled command of the keyboard throughout the 90s, his recent work has shown broader range. Few jazz pianists are better equipped to deliver a breathtaking solo recital than Havana-born Gonzalo Rubalcaba. The conservatory-trained master has integrated huge swaths of the European classical and jazz traditions, while maintaining bone-deep ties to the rhythmic currents of Cuba. Rubalcaba quickly gained fame on the American scene in the early ‘90s through the efforts of famed bassist Charlie Haden, who was blown away by the young virtuoso.Creatively, everything the pianist touches turns to gold. He’s earned 15 Grammy nominations and won two Grammy Awards for his ravishing collaborations with Haden on Verve, Nocturne and Land of the Sun, and two Latin Grammy Awards for Solo and Supernova (both on Blue Note). Solo piano is the ideal setting for the maestro’s exquisite touch, which you can hear on his sublime new album, Fé (Faith), as well as some of his much-anticipated music from his upcoming release
