Brief Reflection on Luke 19: 1-10. The 24th Sunday after Pentecost, Proper 26 Year C.
We always appreciate it when a gracious dinner guest brings a bottle of wine, some dessert or flowers. And we really appreciate it when a very gracious guest shows up with all three. In this week’s gospel, Jesus is the most gracious guest that ever was or ever will be. No wine. No dessert. No flowers. Gracious Jesus literally brings grace with him. Flowers fade. Dessert and wine are momentary pleasures. The grace of God lives forever...
Caregiving also means managing; in your caregiving role, you manage help from family members, volunteers and professionals. Ellen Burton, program coach with Tiara International LLC, a global women’s leadership development and coaching firm, will share ways to manage with gracious accountability.
Home staging and decorating brings out my creative side. Over twenty years in public service and working as a Senior Executive has provided me with customer service and management skills that have proven beneficial for my business. I love staging homes for my clients to make them look their best prior to putting them on the market. I want buyers to fall in love with the homes I stage by creating a lifestyle and an emotional connection to the home. My average days on market of my staged homes is 18 days.

This is Beyond the Airwaves: The Infinity Project, where we go beyond the mainstream media and tackle issues that don't seem so important to the major networks.
The ten-part mystery Gracepoint has come to an end as we find out who was responsible for killing 12-year-old Danny Solano. Even though the ratings weren't so spectacular for this limited series, Fox was gracious enough to let it finish out. We'll look back at the mystery and see if this was better, worse, or the same as the original Broadchurch. As time permits, we'll also talk about other issues of the day. Thanks to our regular listener and chatter Kyle "redtimeforce" Fleshman for coming up with this idea.

Matthew 15:18 says, But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.
Proverb 16:24 says, Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body. Luke 6:45 says, The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the adbudance of the heart is mouth speaks.

BE MERCIFUL and gracious to me, O God, be merciful and gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge and finds shelter and confidence in You; yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I take refuge and be confident until calamities and destructive storms are passed.
I will cry to God Most High, Who performs on my behalf and rewards me [Who brings to pass His purposes for me and surely completes them]!
He will send from heaven and save me from the slanders and reproaches of him who would trample me down or swallow me up, and He will put him to shame. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! God will send forth His mercy and loving-kindness and His truth and faithfulness.
My life is among lions; I must lie among those who are aflame—the sons of men whose teeth are spears and arrows, their tongues sharp swords.

Aspects of Mercy. Can it be Good and Bad??
And HaShem passed by before him, and proclaimed: 'The HaShem, HaShem, G-d, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth;
keeping mercy unto the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and unto the fourth generation.'
And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
Goodness-gracious-sakes-alive, horse racing in the US is nothing, if not rife with people who are packin' opinions.
The Eclipse Awards are coming up, and of course there are arguments both logical and backed only by emotion. (Emotion, BTW, is not supposed to be the key factor when determining Eclipse Awards. Just my thought.)
I'll discuss the hot topic of Horse of the Year, and a few others, including the ever-annoying status of American horse racing organizations and the fact that the genders of their board members do NOT reflect either the fan base nor the numbers of oh, say, females who work in the sport.
I hope to make these discussions fun--perhaps actually entertaining--for you tonight on f!lly Racing Radio. 6:30PM in the Eastern U.S.--but wherever you are on Earth, you can listen live at your time, or archived later.
Ciao for niao, horse friends!
Who is Jesus to you. Is He your Lord and Savior or just someone you call on when you are in trouble, or when trials and tribulations come your way. Jesus is so much more than we acknowledge or reveal toothers and more importantly to ourselvves. We truly disrespect the Lord in so many ways and He has been so gracious to us. He has shown us His mercy, grace, love, patience, faithfulness and spo much more, and yet we still do not truly recognize and acknowledge Him as our Lord and Savior. Let's look in the Word and see Who Jesus is and should be to us.
