WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT IS THE BEHAVIOR, PRESENTATION AND ATTITUDE OF SOME OF THE DINERS WHO RUIN A NICE EVENING FOR EVERYONE. I KNOW THAT ALL OF US HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS.
SO JUST IMAGINE....A GREAT RESTAURANT FILLED WITH NICE, WELL MANNERED AND PRESENTABLE PEOPLE WHO RECOGNIZE MY RIGHT AND YOURS NOT TO BE THROWN INTO "GRAND CENTRAL STATION AT RUSH HOUR". IF YOU'RE IN A RUSH THERE ARE PLENTY OF DECENT FAMILY ORIENTED FACILITIES THAT MEET YOUR NEEDS AS WELL AS UNTOLD FAST FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS. THERE ARE ALSO MANY PLACES THAT ESPECIALLY CATER TO KIDS, SO CONSIDER THAT AS WELL.

This weekend I participated in Dylan Fest Duluth which has been going on about 20 years. I live in Duluth now where he was born. A few events which used to take place at Zimmy's in Hibbing; have been transferred to Duluth because Zimmys the restaurant which was named after him is now closed. I sang in a Bob Dylan songwriter competition on Friday night. The talent is incredible and people came from all over. After about 25 minutes of discussing Bob Dylan, we redirect the conversation to the last 15 years in American history with the advent of the Oprah Show, the new style of music, music managers in the industry including Britney Spear's career including her journey in and out of drugs. Bob Dylan said this when he responded to multiple fans saying he was a prophet. paraphrased "People kept telling me that I am a prophet." then he goes on to say when he brought the message of Jesus to his fans, they rejected him. I can tell you from a Christian point of view, he found the truth of God after fame. He was not tricked into it. He found it on his own. He his a natural son of Abraham coming from the Jewish faith. So don't reject his messages of his Christian era. It won't affect him if you don't. It will affect your own vision. We continue the discussion of how L.A. changed after the Aids crisis and more. First, I must correct myself. When we aired the first show on this topic, I said that Baltimore's State's Attorney indicted without Grand Jury, the 6 officers in the death of Freddie Gray.
Now that the "ham sandwiches" will stand trial as charged, we need to further examine, what happened to Freddie Gray, before, during and after the altercation with the BPD, which led to his untimely death.
Clearly, there are many in the black community who are pleased with things thus far, viewing this as a sort of vindication for the disappointment of there being no indictments in the Eric Garner and Michael Brown cases.
On the other hand, the feeling has been expressed that Ms. Mosley levied the initial charges from a biased, unprincipled position, even suggesting a conflict of interest.
Is there reason to celebrate?
Is "justice" finally to be served?
In Waco, Texas, May 18th, at the Twin Peaks restaurant, a deadly shootout ensued, between two rival biker-gangs, the Banditos and Cossacks, in which 9 were killed and many, wounded.
Amidst the reports of further planned attacks, there are some in the black community who point to how the press seems to set a contrasting tone in how each party is described. Absent in the description of the bikers, was the word "thug".
How much time will the black community spend on this, in relation to that which we need to do, to repair ourselves and our communities, so that no one will ever have reason or purpose to so describe us?
