The electronic government landscape is increasingly pointing towards a diffusion of power, and an increased role and voice for citizens in public decision-making.
Tomasz Janowski from the UNU-IIST Center for Electronic Governance discusses some of the global trends that he is observing: participatory democracy, the increased regulation of new service delivery channels and the need for leadership in ICT services, challenging the notion of what “whole of government” really means in practice.

Monday’s edition of Trunews is power-packed with interviews with global governance expert Gary Kah and former NASA space shuttle engineer John Casey. Rick and Mr. Kah discuss how the normalcy bias is anesthetizing people from taking actions to prepare for extreme danger due to a financial collapse, social unrest, and world war. Scientist John Casey, author of Dark Winter, tells Rick that Buffalo’s seven-feet of snow is the opening act on decades of bitterly cold, snowy weather that will eventually produce food riots and mass migration.
R.E.S.T.O.R.E. - The first "R" of this Planet Restoration acronymn stands for "Relation"; and, for this reason, we want to turn our attention to our relations currently facing and attempting to address the recent outbreak of the Ebola virus in Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone. Why has the international communtiy been so slow to respond, and appear to have turned its back on Africa? What is reality and what is myth concerning the Ebola virus? How has the global media helped to raise awareness and stem the spread of the virus; AND, has the media made matters worse by stoking peoples' greatest fears, promoting misinformation, misrepresenting how Africa actually is, and magnifying already-existing stigmas surrounding disease in Africa? What can everyday people do right now to help stop the spread of Ebola?
Our first guest, Olimatta Taal of SenGhigen Productions, whose family is from The Gambia, West Africa, is working with various reggae and world-music artists to promote an education campaign to highlight African voices on the continent and throughout the diaspora addressing this complex issue and helping educate communities, as well as providing much-needed 'Ebola packs.'
Our second guest will be John F. Lloyd, former Commissioner of the Office of African Affairs for the Government of the District of Columbia. He also served as Chairman of Governance & Reform on the Liberian Diaspora Advisory Board, Embassy of Liberia in Washington, D.C. Lloyd is currently serving as the Chairman of the Diaspora Ebola Network that is convening a summit in Washington, D.C. on December 5th, bringing together organizational leaders and nationals of the West African Diaspora community from all regions of the United States, Europe, and Canada in an united effort to halt the deadly Ebola epidemic.
Our system is predicated on natural rights, obligatory duties, democratic processes of delegation and republican systems of enumeration and limitation. We inherited a system that recognized the vicious nature of man and pit power against power to foster equilibrium and liberty, but we’ve allowed the push and pull between extreme democratism and consolidation of power to smash liberty on the anvil of socialism with the hammer of fascism. We are the puppets in a game of Russian Roulette rigged by the masters, and we have been conditioned to choose it while directing our angst at the ‘other side.' There is no other side-only liberty or tyranny and liberty is gone.
Corporatism is private corporations holding sway over the government and markets using 'regulations', the Federal Reserve, IRS and popular media. Nevertheless, the most useful tool of control is the corporatism of the mind. The oligarchs are the Master of Puppets and we are caught between the hammer and the anvil, all seems lost, but the human desire for authentic liberty cannot be smashed without the consent of the governed. Without puppets, there is no master.
Tyranny is assured UNLESS liberty-loving people band together right now to restore Constitutional governance from your own neighborhood on up to dismantling the Welfare/Warfare Party. Restoring sound money, free markets, Constitutional Militia of the Several States, religious and civil liberties and a sensible foreign policy of non-interventionism; or watch the statists in both parties push their corporatist agenda to their benefit and our demise. To defeat the lawless hordes of Cultural Marxists, oligarchs, useful idiots and fellow travelers especially the Democrats, first you MUST CRUSH the Neocons. . .for liberty!

How do we build the future surface fleet to ensure our forces maintain the ability to access to all regions of the world's oceans that our vital to our national interests?
Our guest to discuss this and the broader issues related to our surface forces will be Bryan Clark, Senior Fellow at Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments (CSBA).
A basis for our conversation will be his recent study for CSBA, Commanding the Seas: A Plan to reinvigorate U.S. Navy Surface Warfare, where he articulates the operational concept of “offensive sea control” as the new central idea to guide evolution of the U.S. surface force. This idea would refocus large and small surface combatant configuration, payloads and employment on sustaining the surface force’s ability to take and hold areas of ocean by destroying threats to access such as aircraft, ships and submarines rather than simply defending against their missiles and torpedoes.
Prior to joining CSBA in 2013, Bryan Clark was Special Assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations and Director of his Commander’s Action Group.
He served in the Navy headquarters staff from 2004 to 2011, leading studies in the Assessment Division and participating in the 2006 and 2010 Quadrennial Defense Reviews. His areas of emphasis were modeling and simulation, strategic planning and institutional reform and governance. Prior to retiring from the Navy in 2007, he was an enlisted and officer submariner, serving in afloat and ashore including tours as Chief Engineer and Operations Officer at the Navy’s nuclear power training unit.
Mr. Clark holds a Master of Science in National Security Studies from the National War College and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Philosophy from the University of Idaho.
