At state and national levels, GOP officials as well as local wingers have a clear new strategy of Whac-A-Woman. Sure, it's easy to note and prove that Republicans hae an active policy of crushing women's rigfhts under terrible laws. That's already backfired enough that they simultaneously deny the obvious and then publicly report they'll change their ways...to recapture women voters.
What about individual, specific women?
We can expect state and national GOP groups to attack femaile Dem candidates. More telling and more intriguing is the preemptive calumny. We can start with Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren, both long-term targets of wingers, conspiracy mongers, and plain crazies. Manufactured, altered and gain-of-truth issues spill from the bag of tricks.
The natil that sticks up will be pounded down seems the new GOP motto for Democratic women, even those not yet running for the Presidency or other office. We'll muse on how effective this might be for 2014 and 2016. We'll consider which of the winger media are the Greek chorus behind it too.
Today in America we hear the democrats accuse the republicans of a war on women because of birth control and abortion. It sickens me to my stomach that anyone could accuse anyone in America of something so hennas as a war on women, when the truth lies on the other side of the world. Where is the true outrage of the women’s rights movements on this subject? As a woman I find all of them cowards to ever think that you could use a term “war on women” about abortion and a pill when little girls are being killed daily. The media hypes it to the point where women in America think its happening. What happened to the true values of women in this country? They have gone by the waist side and we have become nothing but pons in a scheme between political parties to use as they will against each other. So today were going to talk about the Real War on Women.
We are going to start with the babies, the rate of babies being born in China, India, and Pakistan, and the genocide of them being killed just because they are girls; they don’t want girls because they feel they are a lower class, they only want to produce boys. The women are forced to take a sex determination test to determine the sex of the baby, if the baby is a female it is aborted, and if they have the child or are too poor to get the test then they kill the child. There is 200 million missing baby girls because of genocide in these countries and yet we don’t hear anything about it. I listened to a woman who murdered 8 of her daughters and showed where she buries them because she wanted boys; and yet here in America you still think the war on women is about birth control and abortion? How sad is that.

If you’ve ever experienced family court, you know how wrenching it can be. In difficult cases it’s hard to find a lawyer to tackle the issues, and if you’re broke, good luck getting legal advice. In the brotherhood/sisterhood of lawyers, one particular woman stands out – REALLY stands out. Elizabeth Kates has practice law for 34 years with impressive qualifications like a J.D. and LLM degrees from University of Florida, plus psychology training. She has practiced in the areas of finance, taxation and gender issues affecting women in the IRS and other federal laws. But she is so much more.
Liz founded lizlibrary.org to focus on women’s issues and history, which is probably the most comprehensive site about divorce, custody, news, and so much more. She believes that there is an abrogation of the rule of law in family law that has led to more and more problems for women in divorce and child custody, even as the changes in the laws in other areas have purported to equalize women's rights.
And to top it off, Liz is outspoken and controversial even among her peers. One lawyer wrote on his website that people should “stay away” from her as an attorney. She can be just as fierce in her opinions as she can be supportive of the issues she supports.
When I think of women I think of those women who has played a big part in my life. My mother, sisters, women from television and church. Women in leadership ad the ones who own businesses. The roles we play in life as women mothers, sisters, grand mothers and many other parts we play.
