SORT BY Relevancy
Yesterday we talked about the efforts of the GOP to reach out to minorities, women and youth. This is a good start, as long as it is received by those approached as a sincere invitation. Next the GOP must encourage and let these same new recruits participate and actually become part of the Party.
The big question is what can the GOP do to win elections? All the good will, reaching out and public relations is great. However, all activities have one common denominator, they must help you win elections.
This morning I want to take the next step and look at what needs to be done by the GOP if they really want the Senate, the White House and the local seats in Hometown, America.
Look forward to hear your comments when you jump "In the Pickle Barrel" at 7AM-8:30AM EST this morning and every Monday-Friday.
You won't believe what Dinesh D'Souza had to say to Brooklyn GOP Radio in an EXCLUSIVE interview that we'll air Wednesday at 9PM!
Dinesh D’Souza has had a 25-year career as a writer, scholar, and public intellectual. A former policy analyst in the Reagan White House, D’Souza also served as John M. Olin Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, and the Robert and Karen Rishwain Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He served as the president of The King’s College in New York City from 2010 to 2012.
Called one of the “top young public-policy makers in the country” by Investor’s Business Daily, D’Souza quickly became known as a major influencer on public policy through his writings.
Most recently, D'Souza, the creator of 2016: Obama's America, has taken us on a journey of discovery that bringsyou face-to-face with the heroes who built America, in the times in which they lived, bled, and sacrificed in order to build a great nation: Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, and others. You'll be there as Columbus sets foot on American soil, as bullets whiz by in the acclaimed book-turned-film, America.
What he told us about his thoughts of Republican politics today will definitely get your attention! Tune in!
Conservative news talk on today's issues that affect all Americans.
Tonight: Elections have consequences. This fact is even more evident today , as we see just how weak President Obama is on the world's stage. Even more crucial to all Americans is how his weakness is endangering everyone in America.

Also please google the name of Sgt. Charles Dyer and help this patriot who has been wrongly convicted.
Also demand from your elected officials that they do everything they can to help free Sgt. Andrew Tahmoressi who is in jail in Mexico. Make sure the White House especially knows how you feel.
Do you trust election results? How easy would it be to tamper with the modern election process? Does what the machine says truly represent what you told it you wanted? Tonight Dave and Mike Slack explore these questions with Laura Hausladen, Frieda Keough, and Phillip Michaels from the Coalition for Trnsparent and Secure Elections. You will be amazed at how this process has been corrupted. And I promise you will FEEL a call to action! Your vote counts; or does it? Join us live at 7PM Missouri Time. Call and participate at the studio line 347-677-1835. Don't be late!!
This is the end.

CUBANOS IN WISCONSIN BY SILVIO CANTO JR
It appears many have forgotten there are more issues facing American than the ISIS issue.
Believe it, or not, There is still a "border crisis", there are primary elections going on around the country, and the GOP is making a strong push to take the Senate and keep the House.
in addition, the frontrunners likely to seek the GOP nomination for President are starting to make the "political rounds" to States with "influence".
Jump "In the Pickle Barrel" with us this morning 7AM-8:30AM as we take a look at these and other issues.
Brooklyn GOP Radio welcomed a friend of the show who will be discussing the latest on the crises in the Middle East - Van Hipp, Former Deputy Asst. Secretary of the Army under President George H.W. Bush.
In 1990, Van Hipp was sworn in as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Reserve Forces and Mobilization). In this capacity, he served as the Army Secretariat’s “point man” for the successful mobilization, and then demobilization, of the Army’s reserve forces for Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Van is currently the Chairman of American Defense International, Inc. (ADI), a Washington, DC based consulting firm specializing in government affairs, business development and public relations who is an expert commentator on the War on Terror and has been a guest on virtually every major cable news network’s major news programming.
Plus, join Gene Berardelli and Russell Gallo on a tour of the week that was in political news, including the latest out of Ferguson, MO, the Quinnipiac poll that shows how polarizing Rev. Al Sharpton really is and the flap between Bill de Blasio and a law enforcement union over DNC 2016. Plus, a BIG announcement about the future of Brooklyn GOP Radio that is NOT to be missed?
Click-bait, much? You bet! But tune in anyways!

Is the GOP still relevant or is it nothing but a dead elephant? I think we can put the GOP to bed. I've been saying this repeatedly but it all boils down to one thiNG. If you ask what the GOP is all about, you cannot come up with anything that they are for. Instead, you list the numerous things they are against. That is the essence of the GOP. They are a party against EVERYTHING.
They're against equal pay 4 equal work when it comes to the wage disparity between men + women. They'are against a fair + reasonable minimum wage. And they're certainly against any fair + reasonable low-cost, affordable health care. The list goes on + on.
At present, there are 3 GOP governors that are either indicted or will soon be so. The one already indicted - GOP Gov. Rick Perry/Texas - was charged w/"abuse of power". GOP Gov. Chris Christie of N.J. will soon be indicted for his role in the questionable closure of 2 of the 3 lanes of the George Washington Bridge last September for 4-days. The last GOP gov. facing indictment is Scott Walker/WI. During the recall campaign ag. Walker in 2012 he illegally solicited campaign contributions - personally and directly - from well-heeled, deep-pocketed donors + had them dump it all at the doorstep of Wisconsin Club For Growth, to cover his tracks. The Club went on to disburse this illegal money out to various right-wing groups that paid for tv and radio ads supporting Walker.
When all is said the Grand Old Party is a party that stands for absolutely nothing but they do stand for using everything at their disposal to work against anything that has the remotest chance of bearing fruit as enlightened legislation that would benefit the vast majority of Americans and that would raise the standard of living for the bottom 50%.
