The list goes on and on, and thousands of new users are being added every day. Social media is one of the greatest technological wonders of our time. Never before have people been so widely connected, while at the same time (some say) widely disconnected. Is it too much of a good thing? How can you tell when your virtual life is interfering too much with your REAL life?
Tune in today as social media consultant, Kim Beasley, shares the warning signs of social media overexposure and what you can do to kick the habit.
SO ARE THERE SOME GOOD PARTS TO THIS GROWING OLD THING?
Let’s see…you get old, your knees go bad, you forget things, you’re no longer socially relevant, and your hair gets thinner, right? Well, maybe. But the big surprise is that there are actually some pretty good things about aging that no one seems to be talking about.
So we will.
Join us as Dr. Ken Dellefield, a San Diego consulting psychologist and gerontologist helps us uncover and celebrate all the unexpected gifts and joys that face us as we get older. Well Teaching Tuesday is upon us again November 10, 2015 at 11 am cst, I will be teaching on follwing instructions or rather not following instructions and in doing so what will happen in your life. So tune in on Teaching Tuesday November 10, 2015 at 11am cst to hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say to the church. Looking forward to being with you, until then Be Blessed and Be A Blessing. First Lady, Evangelist, Teacher Doniele Wilson All in the Body of Christ.
These days the terms good and God seem synonymous. We believe what’s generally accepted as good must be in line with God’s will. Generosity, humility, justice?good. Selfishness, arrogance, cruelty?evil. The distinction seems pretty straightforward. But is that all there is to it? If good is so obvious, why does the Bible say that we need discernment to recognize it?
Good or God? isn’t another self-help message. This is a timely prophetic wake-up all that will empower you to engage with God on a new level that will change every aspect of your life!

Join Catholic speaker and author Gary Zimak as he discusses the concept of Holy Indifference. While indifference is typically not a good thing, you'll learn why this special case is very good. In addition, Gary will read and discuss today's daily Mass readings. There's always a chair reserved for you on The Gary Zimak Show. Make it a point to stop by and hang out for a while!
There is no doubt that some things Jesus said are just hard. For example, He said, "But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you..." (Matthew 5:44). We have to admit that this is completely oposit from what we would consider to be our normal response to an enemy. If someone is an enemy it's because they did something hurtful or evil to me. So I want to scream: "Not fair -- you can't get away with that!" Pray for them? Really, I'd like to pray they get what they deserve.
It's hard to end the matter about our response to our enemy if we read the follow up part of Matthew 5:44. Jesus said, "...in order that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous."
Let's compare what we experience to GOD'S reality. No one has endured more offenses than God since he began the human race. He is maligned, ignored, blamed and sinned against by people all the time. Yet how does he react? He still pours out blessings and good upon ALL as if those "enemies" were friends. He makes no distinction. Isn't that amazing?
Do I want to be a son (or daughter) of my heavenly Father? I DO! Then I have to start acting like him even if it goes against my grain. Okay, but I'm going to need some help because that's so hard. Is GOD ready to help? Yes! After all, if he willingly blesses his enemies every day, why wouldn't he willingly help me love mine? Join us for live prayer, Mon.-Fri. at 6:00 AM. Dial 174.459.3963.
