Today we are looking at the parable of the Good Samaritan and three awesome truths contained in this amazing story.
It has meaning on so many levels that it never ceases to amaze me when I sit down and read it! And that’s one way you can tell it’s the inspired word of God!
Today we’ll see the criminal inhumanity of Satan, society and even self. Then we’ll look at the Casual indifference of religion with it’s rules and ritual that are dead and have no life in them.
And finally we’ll conclude the most awesome truth of this parable and that’s the compassionate involvement of Jesus as The Good Samaritan. Yes that certain Samaritan, The Good Samaritian is a type and shadow of The LORD Jesus Christ Himself!
So stay tuned to learn how the compassion of this certain Samaritan was genuine, gracious and gentle. Everything Jesus is to all who will trust and obey!

As a Christian counselor I speak to a question or concern from that 3 angles. What might we consider from a faith perspective, from the Word of God. What in the question or query might be the questioner's own issue; and what practical thing might be done about the issue...
I will be talking about the story of the Good Samaritan out of Luke Chapter 10 and how it might apply in this day and time. Who are our neighbors and who is the good Samaritans. We will be asking ourselves are we good Samaritans? Do we ever get the chance to be good Samaritans?
Anna's Journey is proud to introduce Karen Kansler, RN, a community outreach nurse and arthritis navigator at
MedStar Good Samaritan who will talk with Anna about arthritis!
What is it?
Can it be avoided? Are there warning signs?
Listen in to learn just a bit more "fact" about something 'everyone' seems to have!
Who does get it and how?
Is there a best treatment?
Join the show live on air at 8 AM on Wednesday June 25...
My guest this week on The Good Radio Network are Kevin and Sarah Goryl, founders of TOO.Apparel, an underwear company that was founded to help woman and children find a better future.
Kevin wanted to do something to remember a friend who had passed away tragically, and due to an inspiring chance encounter with Tom's shoes and a wife who is a apparel technical designer, it was decided that they could use their skills to help non profits in memory of their friend Terry.
Today, for every pair of underwear purchased, TOO donates a pair to either a Woman's shelters, Woman's addiction centres and Rape Crisis Centers. Why Underwear? Well they found out that it was the most necessary and under served item donated.. Let's face it, lots of people give away used clothes, but used underwear? No one wants someone else's hand-me-downs, and many of the woman and children arriving at these Emergency centers come with just the clothes on their backs. Part of rebuilding confidence is a feeling of security and being properly clothed.
So far, TOO has established their organizaiton and are helping over 40 partner non profits across the USA. Well done TOO!!!
This week we want to know if you think you ARE A GOOD SAMARITAN??? Cheers!!!
