"You alone are enough. You have nothing to prove to anybody." ~ Maya Angelou
Most people will tell you that they are their own worst critic. Are you that way? Do you often feel embarassed about your shortcomings? Do you long to be thinner, prettier, wealthier, or smarter?
If you focus on what you aren't and what you lack, it's easy to lose sight of what makes you special. Special, not in the sense that you're perfect, but in the sense that nobody can beat you being YOU. Whether you know it or not, that's not only good enough, it's necessary. If you struggle to accept yourself as you are, or you feel judged by others for not being what they think you ought to be, you should tune in today.
Find out why you can only be your best when you are being yourself. You CAN get better at accepting yourself - flaws and all, and learn to love it!

LaTasha Ledetter will be interviewed by Irene Watkins. LaTasha will be sharing with us on how an individual should learn to focus on healing wounds from verbal and emotional abuse. The belief is that "I'm not good enough" is carried around by many, especially those that were told this often while growing up including herself. LaTasha will briefly discuss her past experience with the verbal and emotional abuse.
This week we bring you another episode of "Bring it on Monday" in which we answer your questions live on the air! Listen as we respond to listener questions.
We all try to be role models to our kids, but today's world is filled with challenges. How do we teach our kids to be "good"? This week's guest, Annie Fox, has been educating teens and adults for years. Her latest book "Teaching Kids To Be Good People" is chock full of personal (very personal) stories, advice and exercises to help you harness those "teachable moments". This show is a defninite "don't miss"!
The first job we get we usually are around 18years old. We go out looking and we take the first job offered. We work on that job until we are laid off, fired, or the business shuts done. Again we do the same thing, and again and again. This is the most most of us have when it come to job search. Job search is a skill. Most of us never learned the skill. Most of us never read even a sentence about how to be successful in finding a job. Because we don't learn how, we end up in dead in jobs more times than not. Life happens and before you realize it you are stuck in a dead end job, making the same money ten years later. To get the best out of life, like anything else, you have to put in the best of ingredients. Completing high school is not enough to expect the best of jobs. Dropping out of high school surely is not enough to expect the best of jobs. If your best job search techniques haven't been good enough, you need help.
When you adore someone with a Brain Injury and they just can seem to get IT together, when do you get to that point of enough is enough? NEVER!
Having been fired from my job in the USMC, a divorce from an amazing woman of almost 10 years and teatering on the edge of committing suicide more times than I care to admit to since acquiring a Traumatic Brain Injury, I have concluded; LIFE is what WE make it (by the thoughts we choose to give our time and attention to).
No one makes us think, feel or do anything. We choose. We are the only ones who think, feel or do all that we experience, as a result of our level of understanding (or lack thereof). Tune in tonight as Kevin shares seven things that will enlighten your mind and your LIFE (with or without a TBI).
