It's the preliminary round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Baseball Tournament, where the #14 North Brunswick Raiders will host the #19 South River Rams, live from Guido DiTorrice Field at North Brunswick Township High School.
It will be the second time in seven days these two teams will meet, with North Brunswick defeating South River, 6-3 on May 5th. After an 0-4 start, the Raiders are 11-4 in their last 15 games.
Meanwhile, South River is 8-10-1 as the #19 seed. Things have been rough for the Rams, just snapping a 5-game losing streak, and a 6-game winless streak by beating New Brunswick, 9-0 in the GMCT play-in round.
It's double or nothing for the Raiders against South River in the GMC Tournament, only on the King James Radio Network.

We take a look back at North Brunswick Raiders Basketball in the 2013 Greater Middlesex Conference Basketball Tournament for both the girls and boys teams, as both try to make a return trip to the Rutgers Athletic Center, and the GMC Finals, which both teams were able to accomplish last season.
We review the first round games against the Colonia girls and boys teams, as well as the quarterfinal games at Middlesex County College, where the girls faced Edison, and the boys met Old Bridge. We will also have audio highlights from the girls game, courtesy of our live game coverage on the King James Radio Network.
Lady Raiders senior guard Marylynn Muldowney joins us for a post-game interview after the girls' quarterfinal game against Edison.

We are live at Middlesex County College in Edison, New Jersey for the quarterfinals of the Greater Middlesex Conference Boys Basketball Tournament, as the #4 North Brunswick Raiders meet the #5 Colonia Patriots for a trip to South Brunswick, and the GMCT semifinals.
North Brunswick comes in at 16-5 under head coach Ed Breheney, after defeating Bishop Ahr in the first round. Colonia(13-7) comes off a one point victory over Carteret in the first round to get to the round of eight.

We are live from Timothy Christian School in Piscataway, New Jersey for the first round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Boys Basketball Tournament, where the Timothy Christian Tigers will oppose the South Amboy Governors.
Timothy will try to reach the GMC Tournament quarterfinals for the first time in school history, and will also try to be the first GMC Gold Division team to get there since 2008.
Timothy is led by eight seniors, including guards Zach Coyle, Brandon Summers, Matt DiLeo, and Jarret Locke, flanked by senior forward David Figeuroa. Timothy head coach Chris Hobbs believes that now is the time, and we will be there live to find out, only on the King James Radio Network.
It is game #1 in the semifinals of the 2014 Greater Middlesex Conference Softball Tournament, where the #3 Piscataway Chiefs take on the #2 Monroe Falcons, who are one of only three undefeated high school softball teams remaining in New Jersey at 24-0. The winner of this game faces the winner between #1 East Brunswick and #4 Metuchen in the GMC Tournament Finals.
Kelly Widener steps in the circle for Monroe, and she will be opposed by sophomore Sarah Oglivie of Piscataway.

We are at game #2 of the Greater Middlesex Conference Softball Tournament semifinals at South Plainfield High School in South Plainfield, New Jersey, as the #1 East Brunswick Bears try and get by the #4 Metuchen Bulldogs. The winner of this game meets the winner of game #1 in the GMC Softball Tournament Finals.
It will be junior pircher Lauren Assenata in the circle for East Brunswick vs. sophomore Nicole Camera for Metuchen.

St. Joe's of Metuchen has won four GMC Tournament titles in the past 10 years with the last one being in 2010. The Falcons will try and reign supreme behind the arm of their ace, Brandon Bielak.
Meanwhile, South Plainfield will look for their first ever county championship, as they send their ace Kyle Moroney to the hill.

For these two teams, it comes down to this: it will be the #1 East Brunswick Lady Bears against the #2 Monroe Lady Falcons.

We have reached the GMC Tournament, which is the pinnacle of the high school baseball and softball seasons in Middlesex County, New Jersey.
On this special edition of Raiders Rewind, we will catch up with baseball head coach Ryan Lillis, and get his thoughts on his 100th career victory, and how far his team can go in this year's tournament.
As for the softball team, North Brunswick shortstop Marylynn Muldowney once again joins the program live to take us through how the 14th seeded Lady Raiders are getting ready for their first round contest against #19 Edison.

Game #2 of the Greater Middlesex Conference Baseball Tournament Semifinals will feature the #6 South Plainfield Tigers against the #2 Old Bridge Knights, in a clash of two teams who mounted big comebacks in the GMC Tournament quarterfinals to get here.
South Plainfield overcame a 7-2 deficit to defeat the South Brunswick Vikings, while Old Bridge overcame two different holes of 5-0 and 9-4 against the Edison Eagles.

In our first game of the Greater Middlesex Conference Baseball Tournament semifinals, we have the upset-minded #9 Spotswood Chargers vs. the #4 St. Joe's Falcons of Metuchen.
Spotswood knocked off top seed East Brunswick in extra innings at the GMC Tournament quarterfinals behind some late inning heroics from Jack Dalrymple.
St. Joe's defeated Sayreville behind a 4-for-4 performance from Nick Johnson to make their way to the semifinals.
