Also, a look at the Tecas and USC programs and who might be good coaching fits.
On the NFL side, we will talk about how a coach and specifically their play calling calling and how it helps their team. Play calling is an art form, and a very under rated aspect of coaching.
On tonight's show, we have special guest Bryan Perez of www.firstroundgrade.com join us at 10:30 PM ESET to talk about the upcoming Lions and Bears matchup, specifically the rookies on each side.
We will also hit on some college football as each of us will talk about a player who has stood out in a positive way, and a player who has disappointed through four weeks of college football.
Lastly, we will talk about the St, Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers matchup taking place live.
The Bears look like a completely different team, and we will talk about the addition of head coach Marc Trestman and what he has meant, specifically to Jay Cutler. What is happening with the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and we will talk about which team is in more trouble now, and for the long term. A little Washington Redskins chatter. We will take a look at the Chiefs and Colts organizations, and talk about the similarities and differences. We are going to get into the struggles of Luke Joeckel, and try to determine what that means for Jake Matthews, Specifically, we will relating it to Johnny Manziel and his mobility and what that means for scouts. We will discuss Alabama prospects and the struggle they have to live up to their hype in the NFL. From a scouting perspective, we will talk about some of the reasons that scouts missed on Russell Wilson, but more importantly, what is the process in scouting a quarterback. Josh is going to go into an epic heart-wrenching soliloquy about college stats.
Automotive Journalist ALAN GELL was among the test drivers and judges for the annual TAWA autowriters Texas Truck Rodeo. The 2014 Kia Sorento competed in the Mid-Size Crossover SUV/CUV category. Although it did not win, the Kia received a significant number of votes from the media members.
Following a test drive through the Texas Hill Country, Alan stopped to chat with EMILY GRANNIS about the Kia Sorento. Emily was the Account Executive accompanying the Kia at the event and rode along on most of the drives. She is with the Zeno Group, the PR agency for Kia.
Automotive Journalist ALAN GELL was among 40-something media types who attended, judged, and voted at the 2013 Texas Truck Rodeo. One vehicle that caught his eye was the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander. He interviewed SOPHIA KO, an Account Representative with Mitsubishi's PR agency.
The Mitsubishi Outlander competed in the MID-SIZE crossover CUV category against the Hyundai Santa Fe, Chevrolet Equinox, and Kia Sorento. The Santa Fe won the category award.
The Truck Rodeo test drive vehicle was a dark color called Labrado Black Pearl, listed as a 4 door SUV and powered by a 2.4 liter engine, matched with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), SE trim level, and full-time All Wheel Drive.
In addition to all the standard items, it was equipped with the SE Touring Package that added a powered sunroof, Fosgate Radio sound system, navigation, power remote tailgate, and a whole lot more.
Bottom sticker price with all options and delivery charges was $32,720. It was EPA mileage rated at 26 mpg average.
