Since the concept of internet marketing really took the world by storm, direct mail seems to be a thing of the past.
How often do you go to your mailbox and get a newsletter, or a postcard about a new event? Rarely.
Is direct mail a thing of the past? Or is it just a very underutilized tool that can still help businesses make a ton of money?
Diane Conklin is a direct response expert who is here to tell you, direct marketing may be a lost art, but it’s definitely not a thing of the past.
The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, from 7-8 pm ET (4-5 pm PT).
Last week we talked about the business leadership cliff and how to avoid it, and this week we’re going to talk about productivity and e-mail excellence.
Yes, that right — productivity and e-mail excellence. The fact is, no matter how much some of us feel that e-mail is killing “world of work” productivity, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
And while companies are losing worker productivity, employees are extending the length of their workdays, going to the office on weekends, and checking their e-mail while on vacation because they can no longer manage the volume of communication that requires their attention. This is how e-mail habits have become toxic to individuals and businesses alike.
Blech. But instead, why don’t we have a “productive” conversation around why and how unhealthy e-mail practices are sapping personal and business productivity, what you can do about it, and how much time you can reclaim for yourself and your business.
Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-founders and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we learn about productivity and e-mail excellence with this week’s guest: Marsha Egan, CSP, PCC, CEO of The Egan Group, ICF Certified Professional Coach and professional speaker, and a leading authority on email productivity.

Special Guests: Golden Globe winner - Actor/Producer/Director Matthew Modine and Producer Adam Rackoff known for award winning films and new media projects such as, Bill Plympton's Cheatin', Jesus Was a Commie, and the Full Metal Jacket Diary app. They will join Take 2 Radio on Wednesday, Dec. 17th at 8pm eastern time. We will chat about the newly released audio book for Full Metal Jacket Diary produced by Adam and narrated by Matthew and the award winning iPad app!
For nearly four decades Matthew has partnered and worked with many of the film industry’s most respected directors, including Oliver Stone, Sir Alan Parker, Stanley Kubrick, Robert Altman, Alan J. Pakula, John Schlesinger, Tony Richardson, Robert Falls, Sir Peter Hall, Abel Ferrara, Spike Lee, Tom DiCillo, Alan Rudolph, Mike Figgis, Jonathan Demme, and John Sayles. Matthew has been nominated for three Golden Globe Awards and is the recipient of one, Altman’s multiple award-winning Short Cuts. Modine is well remembered for the title character in Alan Parker’s Birdy which won the Cannes Film Festival’s Gran Prix Award. His work in Rudolph’s Equinox helped earn the film four Independent Spirit Award nominations including Best Film and Best Actor for Modine. He’s also the recipient of two acting awards from the Venice Film Festival, the Volpi Cup and Golden Lion.
This is our third podcast now focusing upon Internet Security. With our last two pocasts, we foused mostly on end to end Network Security, but in this interview, we take a different angle. For instance, E-Mail Communications is at the crux of any network infrastructure. When you compose and send a particular E-Mail message, how do you know it is not being intercepted by a malicious, third party, or that your intended recipient has even received that message? Or, how do you know if the content of your E-Mail Message has not been compromised in any way?
In today's radio show, we interview Mr. Mike Koclanes, Director of Sales at Vaporstream. Their technology is very unique in the sense that E-Mail messages vaporize after reading with no data or meta data left on devices or servers. Messages cannot be printed, shared, stored or intercepted.
Tune into our radio show and learn how to protect your E-Mail!!!
Praise the Lord, It's Friday night. We go live at 10:00 pm est. Join us tonight as we will be preaching from the King James Bible. Justification Is the subject. God Bless and have a Merry Christmas. Call in at 347-989-8862. Give your testimony, sing and preach. We welcome you, as long as you are using the KJV.
Your offer is the center of your sales piece, which should never simply be an advertisement for your company. Direct mail is capable of so much more than getting your company name out there. A good sales piece should draw your prospects in, keep them interested and make them an offer they can’t refuse. That is our focus on this edition of, “The Strategist Radio LIVE."
