A short reading and interview with Benjamin Ginsberg, author of How the Jews Defeated Hitler: Exploding the Myth of Jewish Passivity in the Face of Nazism.
"Benjamin Ginsberg’s pathbreaking study demolishes the widely held view that Jews failed to resist during the Holocaust. He conclusively demonstrates the immense Jewish contribution, on many fronts, to the defeat of Nazi Germany. Ginsberg uncovers many forms of Jewish anti-Nazi resistance largely overlooked by other scholars. His book analyzes and details European and American Jews’ prominent role in conventional and partisan military efforts, in scientific and engineering breakthroughs critical to the Allied war effort, in undermining Nazi propaganda, and in counteracting isolationism in the West. This work will transform how scholars and the public view Jews and the Holocaust." Stephen H. Norwood, University of Oklahoma; Author, The Third Reich in the Ivory Tower and Antisemitism and the American Far Left "Fascinating... an original contribution to an important subject." Donald M. McKale, Clemson University; Author, Hitler's Shadow War and Nazis after Hitler BENJAMIN GINSBERG is David Bernstein Professor of Political Science and Chair of the Center for Advanced Governmental Studies at Johns Hopkins University. His many books include The Fall of the Faculty, Presidential Power: Unchecked and Unbalanced, and Downsizing Democracy: How America Sidelined Its Citizens and Privatized Its Public. Bards Logic welcomes Morton Blackwell to discuss the upcoming RNC Spring Meeting and the 'Ginsberg Rules'. Join us and other guests to help remove the Rules that will mute the voice of the Grassroots.
Mr. Blackwell was Barry Goldwater’s youngest elected delegate to the 1964 Republican National Convention in San Francisco. He was a national convention Alternate Delegate for Ronald Reagan in 1968 and 1976, and a Ronald Reagan Delegate at the 1980 national convention. In 1980, he organized and oversaw the national youth effort for Ronald Reagan. He served as Special Assistant to the President on President Reagan’s White House Staff 1981-1984.
Mr. Blackwell is something of a specialist in matters relating to the rules of the Republican Party. He served on rules committees of the state Republican parties in Louisiana and in Virginia. He serves now on the RNC’s Standing Committee on Rules and has attended every meeting of the Republican National Conventions’ Rules Committees since 1972.
Anti-grassroots rules illicitly instituted at the RNC Convention in Tampa this past August provide no chance of a Constitutionalist running for higher office in what used to be the GOP. These rules MUST be changed, especially 12, 16 & 40. The only chance to make these absolutely necessary changes is at the RNC Spring Meeting in L.A. from April 10-13. NOTHING will change unless YOU force the 168 Committeemen to LISTEN to you – the grassroots, whether Tea Party, Liberty Movement or plain old America-loving conservatives.
Tex and Rex will revisit these dastardly rules and the Tempest in Tampa with an eye on CONSERVATIVE change at the Spring Meeting. RNC Committeemen: http://www.gop.com/members/

“The power grab initiated by Ginsberg at the Convention Rules Committee outraged many RNC members and millions of grassroots Republicans across the country. It caused thunderous opposition when the Convention Rules Committee report was presented in Tampa...it will further centralize power in the Party and make it more difficult for power and influence in the Party to flow from the bottom up.” – Mr. Morton Blackwell, RNC National Committeeman from the Commonwealth of Virginia
