If you hear about what happened on 9/9, then you understand why the title of the show is a BIT different! We had a major challenge with getting our episode up and running yesterday. Because of your host's chosen internet carrier! Graciously, Gino Vannelli consented to try again - and many fans are very grateful. Our internationally known Superstar is very proud of a project that was released this year, "Live in L.A." To HEAR Gino sing after these decades of loving him is JOY! His voice is magnificent and his energy is something that you can FEEL. Montreal born and now on the West Coast, we'll discuss his inspirations, his beginnings and his glorious career moments. I have a premonition that we'll hear him say, "The best is yet to come!"
How wonderful to have TWO guests - better still that they will both take away the sting of remembering 9/11. Paolo Rustichelli's music certainly will. This multiple genre pianst, producer, singer and film score composer has been working for years and thrilling audiences with his music backdrops for movies and the songs that have captivated thousands. And that includes Carlos Santana. "Full Moon" was composed for Carlos and it's now part of a collection of Santana's greatest performances. Paolo has worked with Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter - Miles had nothing but praise for his friend while the Trumpet Master walked among us. This gifted artist pioneered the monophonic synthesizer and championed "Chill" music, as well as fusing his Rock roots with melodic Jazz. Then, he can do a 180 and write "Kyrie" - a composition that Placido Domingo included on his "Sacred Songs" in 2006.
Can you expect to hear some of the most awesome sounds in the world? You already know the answer :) 9/11. NOON Eastern!

Milwaukee district attorney John Chisholm, a Democrat, has criminally investigated Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker and his political allies since 2012.
The so-called “John Doe investigation” – coming on the heels of an earlier, similarly sweeping, two-year investigation of Walker and his staff – has been accompanied by highly unusual court-approved “gag orders,” barring the leaders of 29 conservative groups and other Walker associates from speaking out.

This week, we're bringing you a special roundtable interview with the artists on the upcoming Bands On The Run Tour - Doc Walker, The Road Hammers, and Blackjack Billy.
Doc Walker is dropping their eighth studio album - appropriately titled The 8th - on Oct. 21st, featuring the already-hit singles "That's How I Like It" and "Shake It Like It's Saturday Night." It's the band's first full-length without longtime member Murray Pulver, so we'll talk about readjusting to life on the road and how the new material will take shape on the stage.
As for the Road Hammers, their record Wheels has been doing well since dropping earlier this year. Frontman Jason McCoy talks about some of the differences between performing as a member of the trio vs. his solo tours and a lot more. Noll Billings, vocalist with Blackjack Billy, also weighs in on the band's experiences in Canada thus far and what they're anticipating for this upcoming run with their friends.
Finally, in CM Academy, we speak with James Boyle, the current executive director of the Halifax Pop Explosoin, who's getting ready for his first run at the helm. The lineup this year features acts like Against Me!, Danny Brown, and our Nov/Dec 2014 cover artists, Zeds Dead.
