The incredibly busy Ginger Murphy started her music journey early - studying both piano and cello before she was ten! A course of study in Cello performance at Northwestern University paved the way for absolutely golden opportunities. Ginger found herself touring and performing with presitgious ensembles and string quartets, culminating in the All American College Orchestra at Walt Disney World in Orlando. She was offered a position in the Disney Big Band - and that infused this eager musician with a love for all genres and styles of music. THAT inspired her to make a move to Los Angeles to pursue life as a studio musician. Because that became so wise a decision, Ginger gave a lot of thought as to how this positive path happened. And she gives her parents full credit for exposing her to Chicago public schools - which offered orchestral music programs when she was attending. She has given back so much to other students as a result. Even maintaining a studio in Los Angeles to mentor young artists on THEIR way :)
Ginger can be heard on so many musical projects that it's hard to list them ALL - we're talking over 200! Some of those with whom she has shared "space" include household names. Here's one of those names: she just finished the latest season of "The Voice." That's why she can do 12/22 on "Hybrid Jazz!" The places she has seen, the roads she has traveled, the contracts that she has put together for live events (for Peter Gabriel, Josh Groban, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra!) - it's all staggering. But almost nothing can compare to the satisfaction that she feels when she works with her multi-talented husband, Stevo Theard. Stevo and Ginger have created the Sun Soul Orchestra - and you'll hear tracks from this superior work when Ginger visits - on our "Christmas Show." :)

Is the hard soda craze just a fad or are the hard soda wars really upon us? These days you can't go into any liquor store without seeing a wide variety of hard root beers, ginger ales, and orange sodas sitting on the shelves. Is this is a sign of things to come? Or will they find themselves on the bottom shelf with the bottles of bum wine and Smirnoff ice beverages?
Things started HOT with the introduction of Not Your Fathers Root Beer in June of 2015 and has increased even more with the introduction of the Coney Island Hard Root Beer, Ginger Ale, and now Orange Cream. Not to be outdone by all this, some of the big players in the industry such as Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors have now entered the game as well with some offerings of their own.
Where will the insanity end? Will I finally get the Crystal Pepsi hard soda I have always dreamed of? I hope so!
What are your thoughts on the hard soda craze? Is it good or bad? Let the world know!

Johnny Dark, comedian, actor, singer, producer, may now be best known for appearing on “The Late Show with David Letterman.” Most recently Johnny created a mini series about Abraham Lincoln called “Johnny Dark’s Lincoln,” which he has now turned this mini series into a one-man show following the life of Lincoln from birth to his untimely death.
Johnny grew up in New Jersey where he got his first taste of show business shining shoes outside nightclubs. It was there he shined Johnnie Ray’s shoes and got to watch his show at the Manor Supper Club. This sparked an interest in music. Before getting into comedy, Johnny teamed up with Paul Lowden to create a music show. Together they got a 10-week gig in the Carnival Lounge at the Ed Torres’ Fremont Hotel in Las Vegas. Johnny would play the drums and sing while Paul played the organ.
After his stint in Las Vegas, Johnny moved to Los Angeles to further pursue music. However, after a trip to The Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard Johnny fell in love with comedy. At The Comedy Store he got to learn stand-up along side his peers Jay Leno, David Letterman, and Robin Williams.
Johnny began his comedy career appearing in feature films such as Rip-Off with Michael Benet, Night Patrol with Linda Blair and Pat Paulsen, Smart Alex with Steve Oedekerk. In 2006, he started as a regular on “The Late Show with David Letterman” where he appeared as several characters including the oldest CBS page, B.J. Twain, and President Abraham Lincoln. He continued this role as a regular for 4 years.
Not only has Johnny appeared in many comedic roles, but he has also gone on comedy tours with other great entertainers, such as Shirley MacLaine, Ginger Rogers, Pat Paulsen, and Engelbert Humperdink.
In between reminiscing about their whirlwind four-day adventure in Las Vegas, Jay and Dre have some football to talk about, and wow, was there some newsworthy football in the Wild Card games. Four road winners, some of the losers outplayed and some performing epic gag jobs to make Ginger Lynn proud, and we'll speak our observations about those before picking the conference semifinal matchups. Saturday, Kansas City, who just can't stop winning, travels to New England, who just want their receivers to get healthy, then that night a reborn Aaron Rodgers takes his Packers into the desert to face Carson Palmer's Arizona Cardinals. Sunday, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks go into much more pleasant weather than last Sunday as they fly to Charlotte to take on Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers, then the Steelers come off that death match in Cincinnati to face off in the mountains with the Denver Broncos and their new old QB, Peyton Manning. And in between and after the picks, lots of Vegas talk!

From Ginger, Host of the Pain Warrior Crew Radio Show:
"I am so dang excited for my radio show later today!! Gonna be talking about Elvis today. Apparently, he had traumatic brain injury and what today is known as fibromyalgia, and how I believe his life might have turned out differently had cannabis been legal. I read a fascinating article about the first part - the article was written by a Doctor who testified in defense of Elvis' regular Doctor (Dr Nick) in his over-prescribing trial."
