Zavalis, a well-seasoned performer, as her faithful fans can vouch, is breaking through industry barriers with the recent release of her debut single, “In Your Eyes.” Now, she is working on her solo music career with producer Doug Beiden, who has worked with artists Jennifer Paige, Michael Sweet (Stryper), Mandisa and TV shows Secret Millionaire (ABC), Suns Of Guns, Flying Wild Alaska (Discovery), Million Dollar Money Drop (FOX) Find My Family (ABC), Coming Home, Celebrity Wife Swap, Picker Sisters. Zavalis works with manager Scott McReynolds, who has developed the career of CCM artist Britt Nicole & consults for Tom Jackson. Zavalis is also collaborating with Los Angeles composer/orchestrator/conductor Bob Barrett, who orchestrates projects for Disney and has scored films such as GARBO IN HOLLYWOOD & ALL OF ME: The Billie Holiday Lester Young Encounters. Barrett has arranged for Diana Ross, Pat Benatar, Joe Cocker, Bill Medley, Chita Rivera, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations & Maureen McGovern. Zavalis is traveling between New York City, Nashville and Los Angeles to record a number of new songs. Zavalis is also signed with LaFamos PR and Branding in Hollywood.
We talk to singer Gina Zavalis, as she makes the transition from theatre performer to recording artist. She has recently had success with her debut single, "In Your Eyes." Former Canadian Idol host Sass Jordan says that with her voice, Gina "turns an ordinary popsicle into a downright CREAMsicle." Gina sang the national anthem to a sold-out crowd at Yankee Stadium.
Gina has been compared to Celine Dion and Sarah Brightman. She teamed up with producer Doug Beiden and The Lowry Agency to release her debut EP. This self-titled piece includes material written by Grammy-nominated songwriter Rand Bishop.
Gina has an impressive three octave range. The LA Guitar Academy says Gina's "warm tones invite listeners to travel with her on the journey from despair to forgiveness." They go on to call her voice brilliant, introspective, brutally honest, and very human.
Gina comes from the world of theatre. She grew up doing Off-Broadway shows and national tours. She is now focused on her career as a recording artist.
In this hour, we hope to spread Gina's messages of unconditional love, true love, and acceptance.

Charlotte View proudly presents The Gina Spriggs Show. On the premiere of her monthly shows (Second Friday of Every Month)
Did you ever wonder why some Intuitives are well known for their work and others …not so much?
Join Gina Spriggs as she shares 3 Secrets She Learned from Her Mentor and how they made a profound difference in her work and her life.
The moment Gina Spriggs started doing readings professionally, the flood gates opened up and she realized that her intuitive style featured all of “The Clairs” (Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience and Claircognisence… and a few gifts I never even had heard of before). Her clients are from all around the globe and her readings are known for their accuracy.
Even though Gina was naturally psychic, she was drawn to books and workshops geared toward further developing her gifts. Gina has studied with a variety of Masters: Marcus Katz, a Tarot Scholar and author based out of the UK; Debra Lynn Katz, world renowned Clairvoyant and author; Dr. Mona Lisa Schultz, Medical Intuitive, physician and author; and Cyndi Dale Holistic Intuitive and author. It is her personal experiences over the years combined with studying with Masters that makes Gina a Master Mentor!

Drowning in Plastic
Dianna Cohen, CEO and Co-Founder
The Plastic Pollution Coalition is working to help END our cycle of plastics use - yes - END! Dianna was inspired to co-found the group by her work as an artist because her chosen material is the ubiquitous plastic bag. In one bio I read about her she writes: "Having worked with the plastic bag as my primary material for the past fifteen years, all of the obvious references to recycling, first-world culture, class, high and low art give way to an almost formal process which reflects the unique flexibility of the medium." With the Plastic Pollution Coalition, she helps to raise awareness of ocean waste -- the majority of which is nondegradable plastic -- and everyday strategies to cut down the amount of plastic we use and throw away. This show was made possible due to the generous support of The Fairfax Companies.
