“We believe he deserves to play while the legal process plays out,” General Manager Rick Spielman said at a news conference Monday Gov. Mark Dayton called it “an awful situation,” and Nike, which pays Peterson handsomely to endorse its products, distanced itself from the star running back.Anheuser-Busch said it was “increasingly concerned by the recent incidents that have overshadowed this NFL season. We are not yet satisfied with the league’s handling of behaviors that so clearly go against our own company culture and moral code.”The NFL assured Anheuser-Busch, “We are taking action and there will be much more to come.”
"This has been an ongoing and deliberate process since last Friday's news. In conversations with the NFL over the last two days, the Vikings advised the League of the team's decision to revisit the situation regarding Adrian Peterson. In response, the League informed the team of the option to place Adrian on the Exempt/Commissioner's Permission list Star Tribune

I don't know how people are making the comparison between Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson as if they are the same. Nobody with some good damn sense will think that a person who abuses a child should get a pass. There is a difference between child abuse and whooping that ass. An ass whooping has never hurt a child in the long run and I will happily defend a parent's right to do so. We will be discussing this topic plus more incompentence in Washington DC
TONIGHT 9PM- Adrian Peterson said today that he wants the public to "understand how sorry I feel about the hurt I have brought to my child." Peterson, the Minnesota Vikings running back who was benched after being charged with child abuse for allegedly disciplining his son with a switch, made his first public statement on the issue today. He's back to work and has the full support from his team. The NFL has recently gained lots of attention for all the wrong reasons. We want to hear your thoughts surrounding Peterson's situation. Overboard disciplinarian or child abuser? Dial 917.889.3926 to comment. Plus, Toya will bring our MONEY Monday FINANCE segment LIVE from Delaware. REAL TALK. REAL PEOPLE. REAL TIMES. Are you tired of talking about Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, or Greg Hardy? Well I am, and I am hoping to talk about anything and everything that doesnt have to do with domestic abuse of any kind. By the time the show airs, the third week of the NFL season will be complete, and the fourth week will be about to start (Giants vs Redskins Thurs) and derek Jeter will have played his final home game of his Yankee career. Sounds like more interesting material then what has dominated the show the past 2 weeks. Please tune in Thursday night @ 6:30 p.m. est to hear my take on these topics and please call in to give me yours.
Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, whose next? This is a untimely set of bad circumstances for the Vikings. This uncovers a whole new can of worms. He has 7 kids with 5 different mothers? Then why isn't his reputation as bad as Randy Moss? He barely had any association to the the child who died named Tyrese Ruffin, his 2 yr old, who was murdered last year. Now he gives his kid a can of whoop ass with a tree branch aka switch? Damn, not even soap operas could invent this shit.
Check out Rick and Curt this Saturday morning from 11am-12am.Make sure you tune in and call and let us know YOUR REALITY! (347)838-8449! So much going on the NFL and will discuss it at 11am-12am. Ray Rice and now Adrian Peterson! Plus Bear vs 49ers pregame talk!
