Review of Gene Hill's Bellview Lectures on Daniel 9 Part 3

    in Religion

Tonight we continue to review Gene Hill's Daniel 9 Presentation. We look at the 6 blessings and the 70 Weeks. The role of the temple and desolation of the sanctuary as the focal point of the prophecy fulfillment.

Does Daniel see the end of time in this prophecy or the time of the end? The confusion of Amillennialism is apparent and our purpose is to bring clarity and consistency to the chaos.
Join Don K Preston, D.Div, and William Bell for an hour of Bible exegesis on the prophecies of Daniel.

Review of Gene Hill's Bellview Lectures on Daniel 9

    in Religion

Tonight we critique Gene Hill's Bellview Lecture on Daniel 9 and his claim that all of the elements fulfilled in Jesus' ministry and Passion and how this harmonizes with his claim that  Daniel was fulfilled in the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70.  Was the Abomination of Desolation fulfilled in Daniel's 70 Weeks?

We'll take a look at Matthew 16:27-28 and examine whether the versus are or can be divided into two or more events. The tradition of the Spirit came in power on Pentecost and the establishment of the kingdom of Christ, throne of Christ, without end -- Isaiah 9.

We'll check this out in light of the statement that Christ will surrender the throne at his coming and "This plane of existence will no longer exist" and the earthly domain of the kingdom will cease to exist.

When was Matthew 25:31 fulfilled and who are all the nations. John 5 "all that are in the graves" all means all and its' relation to the 70 Weeks of Daniel and chaper 12. We'll examine why funerals are yet being preached.

Lastly, time permitting, we'll examine 2 Thessalonians 1-- to you who are being troubled... you come over here and rest while I take care of those who do not obey the gospel! That's a lot on the table, but we look forward to you joining us.

Review of Gene Hill's Bellview Lecture on Daniel 9 Part 2

    in Religion

Last week we began a review of Gene Hill's position on Daniel 9, showing where he divided the prophecy of Daniel into two separate time frames, one in 30AD and another in 70AD. Wouldn't that make Daniel's calculation be incorrect. If it's 70 weeks, how can it be both times. This is the problem of Amillennialism that they refuse to face, i.e. the contradictions.

We' demonstrated from Hebrews 9, Luke 17 and the Jewish Festal calendar on the harmony of Daniel being fulfilled in 70AD. Tonight we examine more of the message from Hill's lecture.

    Pastor Gene Tatum

    in Religion

AMONG FRIENDS COWBOY MINISTRIES is the Evangelistic Outreach of Friendship Community Church located in Looneyville, TX in the Pinewoods of Eastern Texas.  In the fall of 2010 Pastors Gene and Pamela Tatum retired from the Rodeo Industry as Rodeo Announcers and Equestrian Sports Announcers and MC.  While in the Industry, as Announcing The Word Ministries,  they ministered at rodeos and equestrian events as well as Cowboy Churches in Texas, Louisiana, Missisippi, Alabama North and South Carolina and Virginia. After returning home to the Family Farm in Texas the Lord laid it on their hearts to re-open a small country church just one mile down the road in the Looneyville community located between Douglass and Cushing, TX. Don't laugh there is "really" a Looneyville, TX.  The church had been closed since 2006 and was openned on the second weekend in November and held services on 2nd and 4th Sundays each month. There were 8 in attendance on their first Sunday. Gene was still announcing a few shows at the time and at a Rodeo in Orange Texas in August 2011 during a record making drought,  on the Saturday Night performance he had a heat stroke at the microphone.  He was able to finish the show with the assistance of the parametics (his wife being one of them). While alone in his motel room with his wife finishing the slack performance after the show, the Lord simple spoke to him and said "you are done with this part of your life". His heart checked out ok and Gene retired from a business he had enjoyed for 30 years.

    God Bless.

    Pastor Gene Tatum
