This Sunday, join Sex Positive Works for a "touching" discussion with none other than Kitty Pride of Sex, by Kitty Pride.
As a licensed massage therapist and sexpert, she will give us some ideas about how different types of touch can produce different outcomes - sexual or not. Also, for those who prefer rough touch to gentle touch; high intensity, short duration touch to low intensity, long duration touch; implements to manual touch; or even machine-generated stimulation to self touch, what are the best ways to maintain balance, to experience pleasure, and to (when appropriate) reciprocate and be responsive?
Bring your questions and ideas to us this Sunday at 6:30pm EST on BTR. Listener dial-in number: (646) 787-1616

The so-called “sexual revolution” was a hoax.
A revolution is based on radical change and while the goal of the sexual revolution was supposed to be freer thinking about sex and sexuality, Americans are actually less free when it comes to sex.
More sex has harmed our society.
Americans are having more sex, but less education.
They are having more sex, but less protection.
And, there is more sex but less love and marriage.
In America, we are nearly schizophrenic with our approach to sex.
There has been no real revolution regarding sex, because in many ways, we have de-evolved.

Teen Sexuality, ADD, and The Spectrum
Guest: Wes Crenshaw, author I Always Want to Be Where I’m Not: Successful Living with ADD and ADHD and coauthor of the forthcoming Consent-Based Sex Education: Parenting Teens in an Internet Age.
Dr. Wes Crenshaw says that a key point of adolescence is to organize one’s sexuality. For kids with ADD and those on the higher functioning autism spectrum, that can present unique challenges. If parents have a tough time dealing with sexuality in a typical teen, they may find themselves totally unprepared for what ADD and Asperger’s teens go through. That can include anything from impulsive sexual acting out to asexuality to fluidity in gender and sexual identity, and a lot more.
Dr. Wes Crenshaw is Board Certified in Couples and Family Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Wes is also coauthor of the forthcoming book Consent-Based Sex Education: Parenting Teens in an Internet Age.
Dr. Bloss explores the challenges that women in the workplace bring to Human Resource Development practitioners. Should gender be taken into consideration in training, supervision, the design of Performance Appraisal instruments? Should motivational strategy be more gender sensitive? Is there any value in maximising the differences between men and women in the workplace.
HRM Practitioners are mandated to be continuously creative and committed to finding solutions that utilize new technologies and new strategies that are innovative and sometimes out of the box.
Lately I find myself having a lot of discussions that seem to revolve around these topics. I decided I wanted to bring the discussion here. Sex and Gender are very defining in life, and society. We have assigned many skills, habits or personality traits according to sex or gender. How have we always defined these words? How do we define them today? Do the terms Male and Female really define us as they used to? Is it actually correct to say someone is either Male or Female from birth and that is just that? Can Sex change? Can gender? Must a person be Male or Female always? What else is there? How do we feel when someone decides to change Sex or Gender? Does it even matter? How does this effect you or I? Are there social issues surrounding these topics? Call in to find out.
