SORT BY Relevancy
Born and raised in sunny San Diego, California, Laura Daleo's desire to tell stories was sparked by a creative writing class she had in junior high school; however, Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles was her true inspiration to write a novel. Her book, Interview with the Vampire, published in 1976, has gone on to become one of the best-selling novels of all time.
After reading the chronicles of Vampire Lestat, the driving passion to write her own vampire legend tingled in her fingertips. In 1996, Laura completed and copyrighted Immortal Kiss, but it sat patiently for 14 years. It was in 2010 while packing to move that she stumbled upon it tucked away in her closet. After dusting it off and sitting down to read, she fell in love with the story all over again; though, the 14-year-old novel needed modernizing. Consequently, she began the journey of reviving Immortal Kiss.
In 2013, 3 years later, Immortal Kiss was off to the publishers and agents. In 2014, it found a home with World Castle Publishing, and 1 year later, Immortal Kiss was hot off the press and available to the public. Laura is in the process of modernizing and reviving its sequel, Bound By Blood that she completed and copyrighted May 2001.
Other completed works in the queue to modernize and revive are: The Vampire Within (2004), A City of Vampires (2007), and The Soul Collector (2010). Future projects for creation are: The Ten, The Old Ones, and Vampire Amon.

Friday's Supreme Court's passage of gay marraige as the law of the land should be the culmination of the Gay Movemen'ts political aspirations. But the amount of hate speech, virtiol and verbal victory laps being taken by the Left since Friday fortell the intention of greater changes yet to come.
What is the real agenda of the Left? For activists and Progressives, was it about gay marriage or driving yet another stake into the heart of Judeo-Christian values and capitalism.
What is the focus that you and I need to take in order to protect values and principles that we hold dear? Join the discussion and contribute your thoughts
Historical novels provide us with information, drama, interesting settings and fascinating characters. Not to mention, that we actually can learn something of actual events. In this podcast, I examine and play samples from two of the historical novels which I have recorded. From the days of the founding of our country, we’ll ask the question, “Would you sign?” from theDeclaration of Independence Series. From the troubled Civil War era, we’ll watch the surprising actions of a sutler in Murray Pura’s series, Let Freedom Ring.

Men's water polo and rowing are two of the sports most associated with hypermasculine, bro jocks. Being openly gay in these sports can be problematic. We talk with two openly gay athletes who have forged their path and been embraced. Noah Ratliff is a water polo player from Oregon who just graduated high school. He is on the Junior Olympic water polo team and will play in college. His coming out was heralded by USA Water Polo.
Chris Kelley, an Ithica rower, was outed at a party and then struggled to fit in with his team. But he has turned them around and founded a campus group for LGBT athletes and allies. These are two athletes who symbolize pride month.
