We will talk to callers and discuss gay marriage on tonight's show and why is it even a question?

For years in this debate those of us on the socially conservative Christian side have argued that if we go down this road of gay marriage, we open the door to declaring other taboo or immoral sexual practices okay. A number of people have laughed at this and said consensual loving relationships shouldn't be bundled with pedophilia, incest, beastiality, etc. While they do raise an interesting argument, it's not about comparing them. I believe that if we turn away from from God's instructions in our heart and mind, we start down a road that takes us deeper and deeper into sin and farther and farther from God. When we accept one form of sin and endorse it even, we are much more willing to accept other sins as well.
I believe the slippery slope is very real and in this half hour show I will take a look at 3 or 4 recent or continuing occurrences which taken separately may not be much cause for alarm. But taken together, I believe they show how out of tune our mindset has become with God. That will be discussed on American Faith Today!
We have all heard the controversy with Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage ACT (DOMA). This Wednesday let's openly discuss one's feelings; thoughts and opinions about Gay Marriage.
Should the government be allowed to determine who someone LOVES and who they sould spend the rest of their lives with?
Legislators across the U.S. are at odds as to whether homosexuals should be allowed same-sex marriages. Some Civil Rights activists compare the issue to the demand for blacks and whites to strike down "miscegenation" laws forbidding blacks and whites to marry each other. Others from the religious community say this is not about civil rights, its about maintaining a moral tone for the country and following religious guidelines that define marriage as between a man and a woman. Who defines "morality"? And is marriage a "civil right" or a religious institution recognized by the State? Civil rights activists, religious leaders and legislators debate this controversial issue.
Discussed Gay Marriage - Part I last night from a non-religious standpoint. Tonight, we're talking about gays and gay marriage from a religious standpoint.
