    Conversation with Lars Prip who traveled to take part in the climate march in New York City.  Lars shared why the march was important and how it changed his life.


    Boy scout leader Megan Bauer and Boy scouts Daniel Green and Spencer Bauer came to share with the listeners the excitement of being a boy scout, all the activities available, and to talk about the upcoming fundraiser that will be conducted by Boy scouts in our area.


    Catherine Smith was chosen as Miss Southern Wisconsin Outstanding Teen and she is proud of the opportunity to bring her message of service and standing up to bullies, to the community. Check out Katherine’s conversation to learn about the life of a beauty queen and find out who she wants to be when she grows up.


    Stephanie Arneson is a massage therapist, owner of Health in Hand and also an instructor. Stephanie shared with the listeners the value of massage, and also gave some suggestions on finding a good massage therapist for your needs.

    Gay Boy Scouts, God and Nazi Control

    “On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.” (Not Gay, according to Scout officials...) Nazi- Like Policies! Should all Scouts have blonde hair and blue eyes too?The Boy Scouts Of America is considering lifting a ban on gays. This consideration will be done behind closed doors without the media allowed. GLAAD has stated that this is a "wonderful step in the right direction" although the BSA will continue individual groups to discriminate at their own discretion. This is not in alignment with the advancement of GLBTQ progress. Why is the very foundation (GLAAD) that is set forth to protect the Gay Community calling this a great policy?     Obama's Reconsiders Drones; Boy Scouts Go Openly Gay

    Chapter 1:  Obama calls for review of War on Terror tactics
    We continue the converation on President Obama's change in policy regarding the War on Terror including promises to scale down the drone program and close the Guantanamo detention facility. The president repeated that the drone program was legal and effective, but added it might be time to change the rules for engagement, even revisiting the Authorization for the Use of Military Force put into effect shortly after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. We will talk to Claire Finkelstein, Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy, University of Pennsylvania Law School.
    Chapter 2:  Boy Scouts vote to accept openly gay members
    The national Boy Scouts of America organization changed course yesterday and decided to accept gay members after months of pressure to do so. For decades the Boy Scouts prohibited members who were openly gay but 61 percent of Scouting's National Council of 1,232 delegates thought it was time to lift it. We will get both sides of this controversial issue with David Cortman, Senior Counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom and John O'Connor, Executive Director of Equality California.

    Player Spotlight: DE Lynden Trail, Norfolk State

    Lynden Trail is a game changer with phenomenal speed at 6-6 and a high motor style that wreaks havoc on opponents. Trail was a first-team FCS All-American selection as a junior and is a two-time All-MEAC first-team player. He had 95 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks in 2013.


    The former Florida Gator finished the 2014 season with 91 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and five sacks. He forced a pair of fumbles, deflected four passes, blocked two kicks (one punt and one field goal) and was credited with nine quarterback hurries.


    Trail has been invited to participate in both the Reese's Senior Bowl and the East-West Shrine Game, the nation's two most acclaimed postseason college football all-star games. He will be the first Norfolk State Spartan to ever play in the Senior Bowl.


    Lynden Trail is a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, given annually to the top defensive player in the FCS. Trail was eighth in the voting last season for the Buchanan Award in addition to winning the College Football Performance Award's FCS Defensive Performer of the Year Award. 


    A rare athletic specimen, Trail is quickly climbing up draft boards and is fast becoming a highly touted player in scouting circles. Lynden joins Joe Everett of Draft Scouts to talk about his college career and the NFL Draft process.

    Player Spotlight: CB Travis Lee, Miles College

    Travis Lee is a size and speed phenom at six foot one with his tremendous range and tenacious hitting ability.


    A former Tuskegee Golden Tiger, Lee led Miles College with six interceptions last season and was eighth in total tackles with 40.


    The Atlanta native plays with a chip on his shoulder and possesses the length as well as the physicality it takes to survive on an island at cornerback.


    Lee is an under the radar type of player that is picking up buzz in scouting circles. He takes time to speak with Joe Everett of Draft Scouts to talk about his college career and realizing his NFL dream.
