The family of Bobby L. Gadsden seeks answers as to why Bobby was shot and killed by a homeowner who says he was burglarizing his home. The Moncks Corner Police Department says the homeowner, Cecil Barwick will not face charges because of the South Carolina law called the "castle doctrine." Presiding Bishop Michael Douglas Gadsden, Sr. was born to Rev. Mack and Sis. Hilda D. Gadsden on June 27, 1970 in Charleston, SC. He is the brother of Dr.Maxcina Gadsden, Sophia Jackson, and Mack A. Gadsden, Jr.; Bishop Gadsden is a 1989 graduate of Middleton High School, Charleston, SC. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Morris College, Sumter, SC and also earned his Master of Christian Counseling Degree from Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville, GA. God spoke to Bishop Gadsden's heart and gave him a mandate, to "reach the lost at any cost." "To reach the lost at any cost," is modeled after the scripture, "where there is no vision, the people perish (Prov. 29:18)." This scripture simply means in order to have understanding, knowledge, and wisdom of God, you must be able to see, hear, and abide by Him. It is a matter of life and death. Through the love of God, Bishop Gadsden is able to reach all people through interactive teaching, preaching, giving, and living the word of God by His grace, mercy, and will.
Bishop Gadsden constantly gives God praise and glory. The favor of God surrounds him, the anointing of God equips him, and the love of God abides in him. To God be the glory for the things he has done and will continue to do in the life of Bishop Michael Douglas Gadsden.
