Gabriel Weinberg founded search engine Duck Duck Go in 2008 with one key differentiator from his other powerful competitors: Duck Duck Go does not track its users: they don't collect or share personal data. The search engine also puts "instant" answers above any links and ads; features a clean design; does not bias search results towards what they think particular users would already agree with; and is driven by community, not just algorithms and servers.
Tune in to hear the story of Duck Duck Go's founding, how it's tripled its numbers in the last year, and how the company makes money if it doesn't collect and share information.
Act for America founder Brigitte Gabriel grew up in war torn Lebanon, personally experiencing the radical Muslim jihad against Christians. The Galloway Township Paranormal Society was founded in early 2012 by myself with a lot of help from my husband Harry. The founding of the group was the result of many years of interest in the paranormal and not being able to find a suitable group to join to further my interest in the field. Prior to 2012, I participated in various investigations both locally and in various other states.Since its founding, the size of the group has varied from as many as 10 members to as few as our current 3 members. Current members are Robin Buehler – investigator / researcher, Harry Maxfield – Tech Manager / investigator and myself as Lead Investigator. For my team, I seek individuals that have a sincere interest in paranormal investigations and that have the time and resources available to dedicate to the task.My group meets once per month and averages one investigation per month. We investigate private homes and commercial businesses as well as historic sites. We have conducted investigations at many historic locations such as the Historic Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City, New Jersey (twice), The Historic Marconi Hotel in Wall Township, New Jersey (3 times), The Samuel Haldeman Mansion in Pennsylvania, Bube’s Brewery in Pennsylvania, The Gabriel Davies House in New Jersey, The Salem Creekside Inn in Pennsylvania and the Round House Museum in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey.
We are proud of the fact that the Galloway Township Paranormal Society is a member of the Ghost Adventures Crew.
