Every Writer Needs and Editor
This week’s “Writing through the Year” journey takes us to the theme of “Simplifying.” I thought it would be a good opportunity to talk to my editor about how she clarifies and simplifies and “clears the clutter” from my writing. She’ll offer basic self-editing tips and suggestions for spring cleaning your manuscript.
Even though I edit manuscripts for other people, I always have someone else edit my books. Not only do good editors catch typos and continuity issues, but oftentimes they see something about books that writers themselves have missed.

Rev. Dr. Anya Anne Smith of Tahlequah OK has been in communication with her beloved husband Harry since he passed May 27, 2007. Anya Anne’s project/dissertation is on communicating across the Veil. She and her husband have written the book Soulmating Our Journey of Love Through Cancer and Beyond describing their lives both when Harry was here on Earth and now across the Veil. Anya Anne says, “This has been and still is a humbling experience for us. Our Teachers say that we are experiencing this so that we can teach others with one on this side and the other beyond the Veil. The rest of the Journal and the sequel tell this part of our amazing story.”

Jimmy attended California State University Los Angeles. Member of M.E.Ch.A. And did his graduate work in history.
