We are witnessing a civil rights movement in 2015. The same things that the brothers and sisters went through,we are facing again. What will come out of this movement? Does it prove America is a racist nation? Will we ever get past race? Let's have a honest talk about a issue that divides many.
In the three weeks since the last live broadcast, several more African Americans have died in police custody: Sandra Bland, Kindra Chapman, Darrius Stewart, Sam Dubose, and Ralkina Jones. What's going on? It feels as though the police are stepping up their fear and aggression, and that the likelihood of dying during a routine traffic stop is increasing. This is a very real concern among Black people. Yet why is it so difficult to convince so many that Black lives are in peril and the courts are holding no one accountable? Justice, so far, has been elusive. The latest fatalities and more. Tuesday, July 29, 6pm Pacific

ANATOMY OF OPPRESSION –PART IV
We supposedly have the inalienable right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but Black and Brown people live now and have always lived under and around arbitrary authority that is white authority. Control of education is an integral part of democratic organization - a very natural and obvious structure. Community control of police is against the organization of government control from the top down.
Jim Crow is not dead but alive and well and growing by the minute. The question for our next broadcast is...Do we have the emotional capacity to deal with this reality?
This week we will revisit the COMMUNITY CONTROL struggle for education and the NYC 20 billion dollar school budget as it relates to the reality of our struggle against oppression for freedom and liberation.
