Black Thinkers Confused by Liberalism vs. Conservatism
I'm your host B.T. of the Black Thinker Radio Show. Call in and state your case!
A Liberal is what? Someone who believes in being liberated or free?
A Conservative is what? Someone who lives his or her life under a set of moral guidelines or principles?
One can see how the Black Thinker is confused by political labels.
So what is a guy who believes in the Constitution, the free enterprise system, but is a womanizer? A Conservative?
What is a woman who owns a growing business employing 50 employees that she started from scratch and donates money to local charities, but does not believe in God? A Liberal?
The Black Thinker, as well as millions of people who fly political party banners, are confused.
Most Black Thinkers believe in God which is a high Conservative and Democrat attribute and but Black Thinkers vote for people who do not put God high on the list in some cases. And so do white people! What do things political labels really represent?
Black Thinkers shout on the top of highest mountain about racism, but exhibit, on occasion, quasi-racist behavior when it benefits them. For example, when a black and a non-black interview for a job or promotion, and the non-black gets selected, black thinkers decry "racism".
Did the Black Thinker consider that, perhaps, the person hired graduated from the same college or belonged to the same fraternity or sorority?
Or the person hired or promoted was part of a networking group that helps their own? Why does it always have to be racism?
Hell, it could a relative...which is nepotism...but when things or circumstances don't favor Black Thinkers all the time...it is not always racism.
This show will explore the conundrums of political party labels as well as try to peel the layers of the onion with regard to the Black Thinker.

Dead Man Walking. The Willie Manning Case
On December 11th 1992, two MSU students who were dating at the time, Tiffany Miller and Jon Stegler were last seen leaving Jon's faternity house around 1:00 am. Around 2:15 am, Jon was discovered by a motorist, lying on the side of the road. Jon had been shot once in the back of the head, but he was still alived. His bloddy injuries suggested he had been run over by a vehicle at low speed. Tiffany's body was found in the woods. She had been shot in the face twice at close range. Later that morning, one of Jon's fraternity brothers discovered that his car had been broken into and that several items were stolen. Several stolen items were linked to Manning through the state witnesses, most of which were jailhouse informants. No physical evidence has ever linked Willie Manning to the crime. Since 1994, Willie Manning's defense has fought to have DNA testing done on the rape kits, fingernail scraping and hair found at the crime scene. Even the US Justice Department has said the testimony of the witnesses and the physical evidence is flawed and should be reexamined. However, Willie Manning is scheduled to be executed on 5/7/13, unless a last minute stay of execution comes. Join us tonight for a special night of The Other Side of Justice. My guest tonight will be David Skato, one of the thousands of Willie Manning supporters.

Being Belonging
One path is self absorption. Another option followed by a sliver of mankind is a departure. The masonic opportunity of fraternity is a tapestry incomplete.
Whether you find yourself in our secular environment, or a more strident religious/ theocractic atmosphere, the presence of the masonic estate, there are such a continuum of meaning, diversification produced by assumptions and drift.
For a moment, set aside your preconceptions and join me to look at the order broadly and personally.
Use of the internet has generated new words that have sifted into everyday conversation. Similarly, I wonder if masonry grows organically or what technology now calls viral or what observers call a social phenomena. Or is that a distorted picture of a philosophy with a cadre of men wondering if their sense of the order is superficial.
How would we know if we achieved a philosophical rightness? If we achieved that end, what of our preoccupation with management ?
Regardless of structure, regardless of leadership, the core beliefs of freemasonry are deeply rooted the fabric of meaning, the thought of oracles, the nature of mankind.
Join me.
