Writer/ Director Scott Schirmer's first feature length film, "Found," won Best Feature, Best Director and Best Actor at Elvira’s Horror Hunt in 2012. It went on to win Best Horror Feature at The Phoenix Film Festival and the Audience Prize and Jury Prize at the Nevermore Film Festival. It was also an official selection of the 31st Annual Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.
This film features disturbing content as the topic explores a young boy discovering his older brother is a serial killer, yet the strength of the film comes from the relationship between the brothers, the internal motivation and yearnings in both, as well as the dynamic with the parents in this dysfunctional family.
Scott's in depth look into his characters surely comes from his study of sociology (with a concentration in gender studies) at Indiana University in Bloomington, where he earned his B.A.
Besides "Found," Scott has written and directed many award-winning short films. Scott also managed his hometown's Von Lee Theatre and hosted the film music appreciation program “Sounds of Cinema” on the city’s community radio station, WFHB.
"Found" will be showing at the FSC Super Geek Film Festival on Saturday, July 5. http://floridasupercon.com/found.

Will You Be Found Praying?
Praying Through the Bible #92
TEXT: Daniel 6:1-11
You and I are very familiar with the story of Daniel in the lions' den. Daniel was taken from his homeland as a captive to the land of Babylon. He was trained by Babylonian teachers, and early on, he exhibited a desire to trust God, obey God, and be faithful to God even in a foreign land. Because of his dedication to God, he is one of the most well-known heroes of the Old Testament. Daniel was also a dedicated prayer warrior.
John Piper said Daniel lived "a life of daring, defiant, disciplined prayer. Daniel was more immersed in secular life than most of us and he lived by prayer. What God thought and what God did mattered most. So Daniel lived by consulting God and by asking God to act."
Today, we are going to look at an example of Daniel's prayer-filled lifestyle -- a time in his life when he was "found praying." Based on this passage, I want to ask you three questions that will challenge you to be faithful in prayer just as Daniel was.
1. Will you be found praying in times of abundant blessings?
2. Will you be found praying in times of adversity?
3. Will you be found praying when it seems like you are abandoned and alone?
Isaiah 55: 6 says seek The Lord while He maybe found; call upon him while he is near, let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteousness man his thoughts; and let him return to The Lord; and He will have compassion on him,and unto our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
This is your time. God has been tugging at your heart to come unto him. Don't you think you've waited long enough. Give God a try and realize with God on your side things will go better and you will have peace in the midst of your trials
It's a hate crime against yourself.
It wasn't a term I invented. It was just another copycat scheme he followed. When you put yourself out there on the internet for the whole world to view your image, what will your true image be?
Dear Friend: You meaning you, you who have come face to face with your public self, Even if leaning fully carnal, you have to be good looking to reinvent yourself as an object of sex appeal. Why even try it when you aren't in the condition to pull it off? No one is going to listen to your lofty doctrine when that's what you are putting out there.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
Objects With Purpose,"The Wearable Candle" Objects With Purpose is the culmination of experiences and vision of Ianthe Mauro. "Wearable candle" doubles as warm massage oil when lit, solid perfume when cool. Comes with matches & wooden dipping stick to access organic vegan coconut vegetable wax as body butter! Each of her candles is hand-poured with a clean-burning wax that contains organic coconut, apricot and shea butters, along with a proprietary blend of essential oils for fragrance. The wax burns at a low temperature, so you can use it as soothing body butter when it’s warm (perfect for moisturizing and massages) and a solid perfume when it’s cool. Her scents are sophisticated and appealing, including the soothing Fight or Flight, laced with jasmine and vanilla; vibrant Dahlia, with rose and lychee; Gifted, which combines white tea, fig and tobacco in an alluring blend; and Archetype Rising, a meld of peony, cucumber and firewood. All of the elements -- from the organic butters, essential oils and cotton wicks to the glass containers and reusable muslin packaging -- come from U.S. suppliers. Once upon a time, Ianthe's kindergarten teacher lit a candle before lunch at her Waldorf School, taking a moment to give gratitude. Lighting a candle became Ianthe's way of giving thanks, focusing on an intention, creating warm fragrant ambiance, and calming down at the end of a long day. As an adult, Ianthe discovered many of the candles she'd been lighting were toxic! Researching the safest cleanest candles to burn for her family, she discovered organic coconut butter wax.
