SORT BY Relevancy
With a guaranteed new NBA champion thanks to the elimination of the San Antonio Spurs, it seems as if the Golden State Warriors can cakewalk into the NBA Finals, right?
Honest to the sports gods, nothing could go so simply.
On The Exchange, Sumit and Jason dive into the ongoing second round of the NBA playoffs as the four conference semifinal series have wide-ranging stories of intrigue. With Atlanta and Washington, could the Wizards keep this unexpected run going after stumbling out of the top four in the East or will the Hawks remember they are the number 1 team in the conference? Between Cleveland and Chicago, how will the Bulls keep rolling against the Cavs despite questions about their head coach's future? Out west, how do the Golden State Warriors keep winning despite solid defense on the league MVP Stephen Curry by a battered Memphis Grizzlies squad? And with the first game between the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers in the bag, is Blake Griffin the best player in the playoffs right now?

A lot can change in six months, and it certainly has. Yet, when the calendar flipped to April and the sports world began to gear up towards the most exciting time of the year, it was damn near impossible to stay dormant another day longer.
Tonight, The Exchange is back!
Sumit and Jason have missed the masses, and hopefully the masses feel the same. Oh, and it's the fourth anniversary of the show, so now would be a great time to sort of celebrate.
The guys are joined by the newest addition to The Sports Fan Journal family and Memphis native Rosalyn Ross as the trio will dive into the upcoming NBA playoffs. They'll talk about teams of intrigue, players of note, the races for 8th in both conferences and DAMMIT, KLAY THOMPSON DID IT AGAIN!
Since it's been a while, this is the point in the link where we remind you to come through on The Exchange in the chat room, on Twitter (@skd_thExchange, @asportsscribe & @R_Trinity) and the phone lines at 347-202-0247. Don't forget to favorite The Exchange on Stitcher Radio!
Some will order the event on pay-per-view, some will not. Many will watch through alternative means or go to fight parties. After Saturday, all will look for a new statement on the legacy of the victor, for better or worse.
On the best Saturday in sports, the high stakes playoff games of the NBA and NHL, the intrigue of baseball, the shoehorned "me too!" end of the NFL Draft and the Kentucky Derby are actually preludes to a historic evening in Las Vegas.
On a Wednesday edition of The Exchange, Sumit and Jason are joined by The Sports Fan Journal's boxing and MMA columnist Paul Navarro as they will discuss the welterweight megafight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. They will not only dive into their observations of the fight itself, but the controversies around it. With boycott calls as well as the well-sourced Deadspin article regarding Mayweather's history with domestic violence, what will still end up being the most lucrative fight card in boxing history is also one with an omnipotent morality play.
They will also discuss where the sport has been trending with its increased presence on television thanks Al Haymon's multi-channel Premier Boxing Champions series.

Why in the world is anyone talking about anything other than, you know, sports actually being played right now? Shoutout to all talking about a third-string quarterback.
On The Exchange, Jason will be joined by frequent guest and fellow colleague at The Sports Fan Journal, Dillon Friday to talk about the ongoing first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
There are plenty of questions to ask as sixteen teams slowly whittle down to eight. Can the Pittsburgh Penguins restore some of their luster against the favorites to win the East in the New York Rangers? Will the Islanders continue the party to close out Nassau Coliseum? What can we make of the most interesting series going between St. Louis and Minnesota? Further, what can we take from the commanding series leads by Montreal and Anaheim, the latter with three brilliant comeback wins against the Winnipeg Jets?

We're up to the last chapter in part 1 of The Sisterhood Exchange - and it is extremely powerful.
When you arrive at a place in your life where the urge to be - JUST BE - who you are with all of your assets, flaws, quirkiness, uniqueness, brilliance, etc. gets so strong that you have no choice but to allow it, you will know it. It's one of the sweetest surrenders that you can experience and we'll be discussing it Wednesday night.
Join Michelle Hollinger as we wrap up our discussion on The Sisterhood of Self (S.O.S.). Call in to 646-595-2081 to share your thoughts, ask a question or contribute brilliant insight.
The show begins at 7:30pm.
We're up to part two of The Sisterhood Exchange book club. Part one explored our relationship with ourself via the Sisterhood of Self (S.O.S.). It was important to begin there because in addition to determining our quality of life, our S.O.S. also informs how we interact with other women - those we know and those we don't.
Tonight's episode introduces Sister to Sister and explains how your relationship with yourself, including your self-talk, whether you practice self-forgiveness, spend time with yourself in the silence, etc., determines your relationship with other women. Your S.O.S. determines whether you engage in gossip and betrayal or whether you're supportive and genuine.
Call in and share your experiences with other women. How do they treat you? How do you treat them?
Dial 646-595-2081 to get in on the discussion.
Session 7 of The Sisterhood Exchange book club happens on Wed. night at 7:30pm. This session is on the issue of worthiness - a topic that deserves to be explored because a woman's sense of worthiness determines so much of what she is able to accomplish - or not - in her life. Unworthiness repels - worthiness attracts!
Join host and book club facilitator, Michelle Hollinger, for another fascinating discussion about sisterhood, the S.O.S. and why embracing your worthiness is one of the most important things you will do in your life.

We're up to session 6 of The Sisterhood Exchange book club and tonight's chapter is a doozy! The Gratitude Groove is a short, sweet ode to gratitude and why making it a permanent part of your life changes it.
Join Michelle Hollinger for another awesome discussion of the book that women are reading, re-reading and buying extra copies of for the sistahfriends in their lives.

It's one of the book's most popular, most talked about and most thought-provoking chapters. It's 'If We Knew Then, What We Know Now,' and it shines a light on how women can become fixated on the past by replaying it over and over, imagining how their lives would be different if they'd only done "this" instead of "that."
The chapter explores why writing letters of advice to your younger self is a waste of time and energy; who you SHOULD be writing that letter to and the two most important words you can say to your younger self.
Join Michelle Hollinger, your host and book club facilitator, for what promises to be an enlightening and powerful discussion.
