Why are women afraid to invest in themselves? In a recent Forbes article I read, the author listed 5 reasons women are afraid to invest in themselves:
-They feel they need to check in with someone else first.
-They're not sure if it's the "right" time for them.
-They're are not clear about the return on their investment.
- They're scared they may actually achieve success.
- They feel they should use their money on other family members or on someone else.
These are just a few of the reasons, If you feel you have struggle with this mindset and you want to gain some clarity on what makes sense for you right now, join me and my guest host Tamarra Causley Robinson as we share our experience and expertise on this subject.
As women many times we are focused on helping everyone else but ourselves, when actually you are a help to no one if you are running on empty. We know how it feels to be in this position because we have been there ourselves. It's time to find your voice and we are here to support you in doing so.
Life Love Wellness - will raise awareness to issues we often think about and seldom discuss. The unspoken dialog can help to foster ill health or just not living up to our full human potential.
It’s not until someone is bold enough or crazy enough to bring up the subject that we can have the freedom to talk honestly about what we feel!
My sincere intention is to provide a platform where the talk can begin, where each person can be heard, regardless to whether I agree with you or not. Your voice is powerful!
Our discussion will be: OUR BODIES ARE DESIGNED TO HEAL THEMSELVES.
Do we still use the lessons of healing from our Ancestors who are urging us to return to nature? Some of my Ancestors refused to go doctors because they knew a better way. Did you know that originally Doctors were not paid if their patient became ill!! The Doctor was only paid when the patient remained well and healthy!! Do we have a health-care system or a sick-care system in America? Can we take better care of ourselves?
Join the conversation….
Life Love Wellness – Join us this week as we continue with Part 2 of OUR BODIES ARE DESIGNED TO HEAL THEMSELVES.
Hear what listeners experienced after learning from our last show! What is hidden in plain sight in the prescription medications that are being so freely given to us to consume?
What is Recovery? Is it possible to treat one part without affecting other parts of our body? How many deaths are caused by adverse drug reactions’ yearly? Which drugs actually heal the body?
Should classes be taught on self-care, nutrition, and/or other healing modalities in primary education? Do we have a health-care system or a sick-care system in America?
What changes must you make to stop an addiction – smoking, eating too much, etc?? Can you stop conditions from spreading?
Can we take better care of ourselves? Whose responsibility is it to inform of dangers in certain lifestyles?
You do not want to miss this conversation! Surely you can add to this discussion! Your input is greatly appreciated!
See you on the radio….

3 ... His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Safety is an issue that mothers worry about. How to keep their children safe is a subject they may disagree on. Is it better to carry a weapon to protect oneself, or is it better to get rid of all weapons so that one does not have to protect oneself? The pro-gun/anti gun sides discuss the issue of violence and how to stop it and prevent it

Living in a peaceful world, free from hatred, bigotry, bullying and violence may seem like an impossible journey. Violence surrounds us and overwhelmingly dominates our lives through crime-based TV shows, video games, and social media – not to mention our daily news feeds which include hate crimes, bullying, school shootings and domestic violence. According to Jan Arnow, author of In the Line of Fire: Raising Kids in a Violent World, are all connected along a continuum of violence. In this accessible book, Arnow makes the connections that have been widely ignored. She says, we can stop the violence, with 400 tips.
The statistics reveal a shocking truth. Every day in the United States:
Boys who witness domestic violence are twice as likely to be an abuser as an adult
Seven children or teenagers are killed by firearms
187 children are arrested for violent crimes
1,837 children are identified as abused or neglected, and
2,857 high school students drop out.
"As a result of receiving poor social mentorship and not knowing how to resolve conflicts, there are more than 61,000 youth residing in juvenile detention centers or correctional facilities throughout the US,” says Arnow. "Abusive behaviors often initiate at home, and children who are abused become the abusers.”
Jan Arnow is the founder and executive director of Innovations in Peacemaking International, and is an internationally recognized lecturer and authority on multicultural education, violence abatement, prejudice reduction, creativity, and leadership. She is currently working on a teacher's and community guide to In the Line of Fire:
