Someone pointed out that every time we remember something, it strengthens that memory in the brain and makes it more deep rooted. Memories will help us to reinvent they joy of Christmas and provide an environment where the miracle of Christmas will brighten the surrounding environment. Miriam Musau and Irene will guide us through Christmas memories. Listen live at 619-393-2852 or listen live/archived at: http://pinnacleofpraiseshow.com/new/

"Backward turn backward O time in your flight, make me a child again just for tonight!'
In my mind's eye, I see it so clearly. Christmas was always a festive holiday while growing up. Pa Paun, my father always got up at 4:30 a.m. to start the furnace and Ma Paun, my mothers would get up shortly after Pa and begin her Christmas Baking...bread, jelly doughnuts, strudel cakes and I would be in the dining room playing with my cut-out dolls. Ah, the aroma, the fragrance, the memories.
Many of us have lasting memories from our childhood holidays. Many memories are tied to traditions that get passed down for generations and the mere practice today stirs emotions.
According to the experts, memories are cemented not because of WHAT we do but HOW we do it. It's about how we share experiences together.
Repetition of an activity...etc.
Memories are based on...etc.
Rehash memories in you mind daily...etc.

ABOUT THIS SHOW:
This is the sixth year of my annual two-night family Christmas show, filled with wonderful old rare radio shows, stories, songs, and culminating in the second night (tomorrow) with the old and rare reading by author Truman Capote of his own poignant "A Christmas Memory."
You'll hear music by Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and others singing holiday classics, as well as old radio performances of holiday classics, and some you've never heard. The stories vary from year-to-year, but always great nostalgic holiday fare.
Gather your family around, have a cup of hot cocoa, eggnog, or just a cup of good cheer, and enjoy.
Tomorrow night's show will be deleted afterward and only available for listening live each year, when I switch things up and put together a warm and hopefully memorable holiday program for you.
Merry Christmas, and happiest of holidays to everyone. I wish you each a new year of good health, and abundant peace.
Thank you to all of my listeners from the bottom of my heart.
As this year comes to an end, we wanted to make this show all about Christmas: Your fondest memories, the gifts, the giving, the religious aspect of Christmas, are just some of the topics we will cover. Is it becoming too commercial? Or will Chaldeans always value the true meaning? Special Christmas songs will be playing throughout the show and we encourage all our listeners to share their favorite Christmas memories. Rafed Yaldo, will call in, live, to share his current journey in Iraq and update us on the status of the Christmas Spirit back home. On behalf of The Boiler Room, we would like to wish all our listeners and your families a very Merry Christmas! God Bless!
