The Baptism of the Heroin Addict

    in Religion

While on a mission to preach to the fundamentalists in Utah in 1980 from North Caroina,  the remarkable baptism of an albino heroin addict named George from a halfway house on State St. in Salt Lake, the miraculous change wrought physically upon his body, and his exclaiming aloud as the bands constricting his mind and soul were loosed and his soul expanded partaking of the tremendous and ineffable power which physically changed his body, he thereby tasted the love of God and was born a new creature, the old blood purged out. His face which had been pinched with unhealthy pallor became rudy, flushed with a rosey color showing forth a radiance as a sign, strikingly because of this amazing change.

40 And thus, if ye will not nourish the word, looking forward with an eye of faith to the fruit thereof, ye can never pluck of the fruit of the tree of life.
41 But if ye will nourish the word, yea, nourish the tree as it beginneth to grow, by your faith with great diligence, and with patience, looking forward to the fruit thereof, it shall take root; and behold it shall be a tree springing up unto everlasting life.
42 And because of your diligence and your faith and your patience with the word in nourishing it, that it may take root in you, behold, by and by ye shall pluck the fruit thereof, which is most precious, which is sweet above all that is sweet, and which is white above all that is white, yea, and pure above all that is pure; and ye shall feast upon this fruit even until ye are filled, that ye hunger not, neither shall ye thirst.
43 Then, my brethren, ye shall reap the rewards of your faith, and your diligence, and patience, and long-suffering, waiting for the tree to bring forth fruit unto you.

Unusual Show: Topic discussed: Re-Homing Your Unwanted Fish

    in Podcasting

Healthy fish  should never be a problem to get rid of. Any of the following options is preferable to dumping or flushing:

Local Fish/Pet Shop - See if they will take your unwanted fish. Some will even pay you a small price for them.
?Other fishowners - Advertise if you have to, you'll be surprised by how many fishowners are willing to adopt your fish.Fish Clubs - Check to see if there is a fish club in your region. Odds are someone in the club will gladly take your fish.

Schools, nursing home's, or office's - Any place that has an aquarium may agree to take your fish. If they don't have an aquarium, consider donating yours. Nursing homes and schools often welcome such gifts, and it might even be tax deductible.

Diseased fish are a little more difficult to deal with. Obviously they cannot be given away. However, they should never be dumped into local waterways or flushed. Sick Fish that cannot be cured should be quickly and mercifully euthanized before being disposed of in a sanitary landfill.

Operation Eggle team had Militias and Patriots

    in Politics Conservative

Our operation was named after Chris Eggle, a National Park Law Enforcement Officer who gave his life protecting our great country. In March of 2015 a group of Men gathered together to continue defending and protecting this great country in his Honor. Men from the east cost to the west coast to the central part of America came together for one cause, Protect America.

The Team hit the trails and mountains hard! We flushed out an area of approximately 8 ROUGH DESERT MILES, and rid it of drug and human trafficking. Our team initiated no less than 3 foot pursuits with cartel, and did a search for additional the last two nights. The area that we hit enabled us to push the cartel straight into Border Patrol, which affected directly the apprehension of at least 57 total individuals, 23 of which were drug mules, 30 illegal aliens, and at least 798 pounds of narcotics. For our team this operation was a success, but more importantly, for the men and women of this country this was an opportunity to show Americans what is possible if we just stop talking and start acting. We could run these operations all year round if enough people would walk the walk and back up the talk. I love my country and am proud to say that I did something to actually protect it, and I urge every man and woman to stand and do the same.

The View Up Here highlights "Not In Our Name" with @CDHill9

    in Politics

How many wrong decisions can one nation endure? Every week there's a new story that shows a shocking lack in ethics or judgement on the part of the government. It’s open season on the environment, on science, the rights of veterans, it shames us all. Cuts to investigative journalism by most media outlets are allowing many stories to remain under-covered or untold altogether. Media consolidation has meant there are fewer voices reporting, with ever-tightening restrictions on what they can say. This is a critical threat to democracy, and it's the principal motivation for this film. Independent voices must pick up the slack.

    - The tradition of being at the forefront of scientific research and development, critical to the nation's properity, has been all but abandoned. Our prowess and innovation has been flushed because scientifc research is revealing the effects of destructive policies.

    - Since 2006 there has been an erosion of funding for veterans. The closure of 9 offices has resulted in having to drive for as long as eight hours to receive support. Lump sum payments have replaced life-long pensions, leaving veterans with less.

    - The Harper Government has spent over 40 million dollars on TV ads promoting the oilsands. They fail to mention NAFTA is investigating how Canada is ignoring its own environmental laws. Responsible development is crucial for prosperity, but allowing oil giants to pollute without limit is leading to tragic results.

"Not In Our Name" (NION) will explore the axis of Industry, Media and Government, which prioritizes corporate interests over the peoples' interests. NION will show similar tactics around the world. The footage will directly contrast the pristine beauty of Canada with the damage that has been caused by de-regulated industry. We will work as hard as your contributions will allow. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1916096034/not-in-our-name
